Join our family at Amanzoe as a Security Officer. RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the Security Supervisors and Security Manager, this role involves ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property through monitoring, emergency response, and adherence to safety standards. Key responsibilities include patrolling, incident reporting, equipment checks, and addressing rule violations. A clean criminal record, valid security license, and flexibility to work all shifts are required. Basic first aid/CPR skills are also essential for handling emergencies. Fulfill the needs of guests and exceed their expectations by presenting a positive image of the hotel through appropriate appearance and communication. Report on time for every shift. Be dressed appropriately in the work uniform. Maintain records and documentation as requested. Be accountable for daily tasks assigned by the Security Manager. Complete incident/accident reports. Participate in emergency situations. Operate various equipment and electronics. Inform and warn offenders about rule violations, such as trespassing, loitering, smoking, or carrying prohibited items. Monitor and report irregularities, such as security breaches or emergency situations on the premises. Communicate with emergency services like the police, fire department, and health center. Conduct regular checks of alarm panels, fire extinguishers, and other safety equipment to ensure proper functioning. Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle as directed to ensure the safety of guests, staff, buildings, and equipment. Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure security. Use guest keys to open and close buildings. Monitor closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities. Conduct investigations, checks, and inspections to ensure a safe environment and compliance with safety rules and standards. Perform safety analysis in the workplace, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions. Recommend procedures to ensure employees are accountable for their safety-related duties. Ability to learn and perform basic first aid when required QUALIFICATIONS About the Successful Candidate Clean criminal record. Valid security license (preferred). Willing to work all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to perform basic first aid/CPR. Perform other duties as assigned by management.The ideal candidate will be creative, organized with problem solving & time management skills and with desire to achieve highest quality service standards with guests and team members. This role is based at our Amanzoe in the greater Porto Heli Area - Greece. While we are open to applications from international candidates, we ask that you already possess the right to live and work in Greece without the need for a company-supported work permit.
