We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Senior Motion Control Engineer to join our team, as the Motion &amp; Robotics Specialist of the APM Business Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business and sales development, spearheading the complete lifecycle of customer motion projects, leveraging our extensive product portfolio as well as providing top-tier customer support.This role requires a deep understanding of motion control technologies, vast technical experience in developing complete motion/servo/robotics projects and project development expertise along with a business development approach.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in driving business and sales development through a technical approach to customer applications.</li><li>Conduct customer visits to assess needs, deliver technical presentations, and identify opportunities for business development and sales growth.</li><li>Identify and engage potential customers (OEM – machine builders, End Users &amp; System Integrators).</li><li>Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, offering expert guidance and support on motion control &amp; robotics products and solutions.</li><li>Utilize extensive experience in motion project development to design and suggest innovative solutions tailored to meet customers’ specific requirements and challenges.</li><li>Lead end-to-end execution of customer pilot motion projects, from initial application study and design to implementation, testing, commissioning, start-up, and ongoing support, utilizing company products and solutions.</li><li>Provide top-tier technical support for motion control applications, including troubleshooting and optimization.</li><li>Support partners in existing servo applications’ implementation when needed.</li><li>Reporting to Automation, Power &amp; Motion Business unit Manager</li></ul>Your Profile:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in motion project development utilizing servos, industrial robots, and inverters, with proficiency in integrating peripheral components and delivering complete motion control solutions for machine builders and/or production lines / factories.</li><li>Vast experience in delivering Motion Control projects, performing sizing / selecting / programming / tuning – troubleshooting and optimization to machines / production lines consist of AC Servo systems, Stepper motors, Industrial robots, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, Vision Systems, Engineering &amp; CAD Software, Instrumentation and sensors.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of advanced motion control techniques and technologies, including open/close/fully closed-loop applications, position/speed/torque control, adaptive control &amp; tuning/autotuning, interpolation control (linear, circular, helical), multi-axis synchronous control (gearing, camming, virtual axis, follower, ELS etc), mark detection function, vibration suppression method, pressure control, and others.</li><li>Utilization of various control methods, including analog control, pulse train control, and fieldbus protocols such as CC-Link IE TSN, SSCNET III/H, EtherNet/IP, ProfiNET, EtherCAT, CC-Link IE, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profibus, etc.</li><li>Experience in a wide range of application types, such as Vertical Form, Fill &amp; Seal, Rotary Knife, Gantry Application, Pick and Place Robot, Press-fit Machine, Conveyor Systems, Product Handling Equipment, Film Slitting Machine, and Screw Tightening Machine.</li><li>Strong PLC programming skills with LD, FBD, STL, and SFC languages based on IEC61131-3 standard, along with PLCopen (logic &amp; motion control) and CoDeSys tools knowledge, in order to develop complete motion control systems using PLCs.</li><li>Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts including IoT, Cloud, and AI/ML applications.</li><li>Computer literacy including familiarity to programming languages (Python, C#/C++/C, Java), TCP/IP computer networks, HTML, SQL, MS Office and ERP/CRM Systems.</li><li>Business development oriented &amp; sales growth focused.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proven track record of successful project execution.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.</li><li>Ability to be self-motivated while fostering a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Willingness to travel to customer sites for customer visits, project implementation, and support as required (~50% of the time).</li><li>Excellent command of English/Greek Language (verbal/written), with flexibility in technical terms.</li><li>Strong organizational &amp; We are currently looking for an Automation Technical Support Engineer&nbsp;for APM Business Unit, to join our team.Your Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Providing technical support to UTECO S.A. customers, regarding Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation product portfolio (PLC, HMI, SCADA, Inverters, Servo, Robots, LVS, Fieldbus and related software), both in-house (~70%) and on-site (~30%).</li><li>Pre-sales technical support.</li><li>Design and propose of equipment solutions to be offered.</li><li>Conduct customers’ trainings &amp; technical visits.</li><li>Commissioning &amp; debugging of equipment on-site.</li><li>Design and implement key/strategical R&amp;D projects.</li><li>Reporting to the Technical Support Manager.</li></ul>Your Profile<ul><li>University Degree in Engineering A.E.I. or A.T.E.I.
