Performance Engineer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Organizes and coordinates the repairs / installations of parts and equipment for the communication and navigation electronic equipment onboard the vessels.</li><li>Compares all malfunctions, repairs and evaluations and proposes suitable, economic and efficient troubleshooting solutions.</li><li>Organizes and monitors the maintenance, servicing and proper operating condition onboard of the Navigation and Communication Electronic Equipment.</li><li>Arranges all Radio/VDR annual surveys.</li><li>Cooperates with MSQ, purchasing, technical and accounting staff regarding Radio/Nav issues, requisitions and payments.</li><li>Provides equipment and service support for the navigation products to the vessels and superintendent engineers.</li><li>Communicates with important suppliers and tracks the respective contracts.</li><li>Checks incoming requisitions for spares, related to navigation communication electronic equipment, in cooperation with the purchasing department and ensures for prompt delivery onboard.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree on Electronics or Electrical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a shipping company.</li><li>Master’s degree and experience as Repair and Installation Technician or Radio Surveyor will be considered an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of Marine Communication Systems.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Compute Literate.</li><li>Excellent communication &amp; organization skills.</li></ul>

Radio Navigation Electronic Engineer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Regularly visits company’s vessels to report on their condition and/or supervise repairs.</li><li>Performs riding attendance as defined by the Maintenance Manager, including preparation for third-party inspections (e.g., terminals, port state, class, flag, P&amp;I), always ensuring compliance with the company's safety, quality, and environmental standards.</li><li>Monitors the repair and maintenance of vessels, offering similar support to the rest of the fleet vessels.&nbsp;</li><li>Attends dry dockings to ensure all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager and/or Technical SupEng are carried out to specification, ensuring the vessel is delivered in seaworthy condition and ready in all respects.</li><li>Assists in preparing dry dock and repair specifications.</li><li>Provides technical support to the personnel onboard.</li><li>Attends new acquisitions and vessel sales to new buyers.</li><li>Travels abroad to ports frequented by the company's vessels to conduct inspections, assist onboard personnel, and monitor the preparation of third-party inspections.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Chief Engineer’s or 2nd&nbsp;Engineer’s license and minimum 3 years of sea service at these positions.</li><li>Office experience as Superintendent Engineer will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Travel mobility.</li></ul>

Roving Engineer

Responsibilities:<ol><li>Assist in the financial statement close process, including preparing U.S. GAAP adjustments and compiling supporting schedules.</li><li>Contribute to the preparation of quarterly (6-K) and annual (20-F) statutory filings under U.S. GAAP/IFRS (for Group and Stand-alone entities), including gathering required disclosures and performing reconciliations.</li><li>Coordinate with internal and external auditors by preparing audit schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to standard audit requests.</li><li>Support internal management reporting and assist in cross-functional projects, including those related to tax and other financial reporting matters.</li><li>Assist in monitoring compliance with SOX requirements and help implement improvements to internal controls over financial reporting.</li></ol>Qualifications / Experience:<ol><li>University graduate on Accounting, Finance or related field.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of audit experience.</li><li>Previous experience in finance and/or reporting roles within dynamic corporate environments, preferably shipping, will be considered an asset.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Strong commitment to accuracy, transparency and financial integrity.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office.</li></ol>

Financial Reporting Officer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Communicates to Masters Voyage instructions, port requirements, local regulations, cargo requirements and precautions, ship’s charter party description and applicable clauses.</li><li>Checks&nbsp;cargo docs, LOIs, bunker requirements and authorizes bunker invoices.</li><li>Issues voyage instructions, ship’s cargo holds preparation instructions and Monitors ship’s cargo holds condition and preparation.</li><li>Communicates with charterers via broking channels.</li><li>Monitors the actual day-to-day performance and financial expenditure of the vessels.</li><li>Coordinates with Chartering department in describing vessel’s particular characteristics and reviews Charter Party clauses.</li><li>Appoints cargo and bunker surveyors and port agents and arranges various services that the ship requires. Updates position list and position books, checks with agent the ship’s prospects and approves D/As.</li><li>Liaises with the Insurance and Claims Departments in handling of claims, hazardous situations, accidents and P &amp; I involvement.</li><li>Monitors the performance of the vessels based on charter party and Company’s requirements and guidelines. Also monitors the daily performance at Sea with regards to speed, consumption and weather conditions.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>5&nbsp;years of office experience as Operator&nbsp;in a shipping company with bulk carriers.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Communication &amp; negotiation skills.</li></ul>

Fleet Operator

Responsibilities:<ol><li>Analyses fleet emission and performance data that will be used in the feasibility studies of new technologies.</li><li>Issues internal reports on fleet emissions and other relevant subjects.</li><li>Attends vessels to perform in situ research and gather relevant data, as required.</li><li>Cooperates with other departments to identify means and actions required to improve performance and reduce vessels’ emissions.</li><li>Coordinates with the Technical / Operations / Vessels’ Performance Monitoring departments to gather relevant data and operational feedback.</li><li>Cooperates with Vessels’ Performance Monitoring &amp; IT departments to collect, store and transmit vessel’s data to the head office.</li><li>Investigates and researches new technologies, conducting their evaluation through feasibility studies (techno-economic reports).</li></ol>Qualifications / Experience:1. BSc in Naval Architecture, Engineering, Mathematics Physics or Business related field. 2. Post-graduate degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset. 3. Minimum 2 years of experience at a similar position. 4. Excellent analytical, presentation and reporting skills. 5. Fluency in English. 6. Computer literate.

Research & Development Analyst

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Organizes and implements courses of action for matters of technical nature arising onboard vessels.</li><li>Instructs, coordinates and monitors works / repairs.</li><li>Follows up on the maintenance status, condition and operation of assigned vessels and co-operates with the crew, in order to ensure that assigned vessels are operating in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Attends vessels and periodically sails on-board to ensure the technical condition of the equipment.</li><li>Monitors and verifies vessel’s performance, supervises repairs, reports findings, follows-up closure of defects etc.</li><li>Provides training and technical advice to shipboard personnel, as necessary.</li><li>Implements effectively preventive maintenance of ship’s hull, main machinery, deck machinery, etc.</li><li>Monitors Class and Flag State requirements and plans required surveys accordingly.</li><li>Deals with any damage repairs or modifications, preserving the vessels commercial competence.</li><li>Monitors all technical problems, major defects and follows-up, until corrective action is verified.</li><li>Controls and monitors the lub-oil and bunker quality and consumption.</li><li>Prepares repairs / conversions, dry-docking, special surveys, damage and voyage repairs, and specifications and supervises the execution of all such works.</li><li>Attends delivery of new acquisitions.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:1. Degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture and minimum 6 years of office experience or Chief Engineer’s license, minimum 3 years of sea service as Chief Engineer and 1 year of office experience as Superintendent Engineer.2. Technical Superintendent

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Installs, configures and troubleshoots laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, storage systems and network devices (hardware, operating systems and software applications).</li><li>Monitors IT systems’ performance and ensures system availability and reliability.</li><li>Performs system and network updates/upgrades.</li><li>Maintains IT security and backup solutions.</li><li>Is responsible to ensure Master’s and Chief Engineer’s familiarization on company’s IT systems.</li><li>Travels on board for maintenance or troubleshooting reasons, whenever required.</li><li>Handles invoices’ checking, reconciliation, processing and filing for all vendors and technical / solution&nbsp;suppliers (office communications, vessels’ satellite and mobile communications, ICT equipment,&nbsp;procurement).</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or diploma in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or any similar field.</li><li>Post-graduate studies in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.</li><li>Experience in shipping and knowledge of ships automation systems will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li></ul>

Vessels IT Officer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Performs day-to-day activities such as accounting entries, register and filing, bank and other general ledger accounts reconciliations.</li><li>Reviews and posts all accounts receivable invoices in IMOS and Navision prepared by operations department.</li><li>Books in IMOS and Navision all accounts payable invoices and maintains all vendors’ accounts on a daily basis.</li><li>Books in IMOS and Navision all AR collections.</li><li>Performs quarterly, year-end revenue and voyage expenses accrual process.</li><li>Analyzes voyage P&amp;Ls and ensures that the TCE results are accurate. Provides oversight over Operations data input into IMOS on a daily basis.</li><li>Performs account analysis relating to revenue, expenses and other voyage accounting issues.</li><li>Performs reconciliations between IMOS and Navision on a quarterly basis.</li><li>Prepares journal entries relating to bunker inventory and performs inventory statement reconciliation on a quarterly basis.</li><li>Coordinates all voyage related payables by ensuring approved invoices are processed.</li><li>Prepares voyage analysis and vessel closing.</li><li>Closes coordination with Treasury, Commercial and Operations.</li><li>Posts invoices/suppliers’ statements to the Greek Statutory Books (My Data).</li><li>Supports all periodic Tax and VAT submissions for the Companies of Law 89/67.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor degree in Accounting/ Finance or any relevant field.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in various accounting areas.</li><li>Experience in the shipping industry.</li><li>Knowledge of Navision and IMOS will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literacy.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure.</li></ul>

Voyage Accountant

Implements and monitors all recruiting activities and processes for the assigned vessels according to the provided manning plan, in order to timely and accurately meet the requirements of vessels. Liaises with the crew, in order to identify potential training needs and support their well-being on-board.&nbsp;Ensure environmental compliance policies are upheld. Key Accountabilities: 1. Execution of the manning plan <ul><li>&nbsp;Reviews the contractual agreements and the vessels’ manning plan, performing and monitoring all selection steps, i.e. identification, evaluation and selection of crew, for the effective recruitment of the most suitable and qualified candidates, according to ship flag legislation, technical requirements and available budget. </li><li>Reviews and approves the employment contracts of all assigned vessels’ seafarers issued by the CSCs, to ensure they are according to company’s procedures and agreed terms and local/flag legislation. </li><li>Proposes and implements the relief/rotation planning and EoC procedures of the ships’ personnel, focusing on the provision of alternatives for the continuous and effective operation of the vessels. </li><li>Timely identifies future and current vacancies in vessels’ personnel and informs accordingly his/her supervisor, the CSCs, in order to support the accurate and fast coverage of needs. Supports the FP Manager to develop the annual manning plan and budget. </li><li>Prepares and implements Crew planning (timeliness reliefs, accuracy of documentation, budget compliance, response to customer requests). </li></ul>2.&nbsp;Vessel Personnel Management <ul><li>Coordinates with the FP Manager and CSCs regarding the prompt and accurate implementation of changes in ports’ procedures, such as visas, permissions, etc., concerning the smooth embarkation and disembarkation of crewmembers if management intervention required. </li><li>Communicates with flag state authorities in order to gather information related to the specific regulations each flag state may require.
