Post Fixture Assistant

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Handles the assigned fleet’s C/P claims (off-hire / demurrage / other disputes) presented by / or to Charterers, collaborating with the Post Fixtures Officers team, as required.</li><li>Controls hire and freight collection.</li><li>Handles / follows up on undisputed balances, invoices against charterers’ hire statements and funds received from charterers and their balances.</li><li>Monitors vessels’ voyage and daily operations to follow up on fixtures and potential claims.</li><li>Prepares weekly and other relevant reports, as requested by the Post Fixtures Manager or the top management team.</li><li>Checks and submits for approval the brokerage commission invoices and forwards same to the Accounting department for settlement.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor degree in shipping, law, chartering or any relevant field.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in post-fixing and claims handling at a ship-owning company, preferably with bulkers.</li><li>Excellent knowledge and understanding of Charter Party clauses and claims handling.</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>MS Office Literacy.</li></ul>

Post Fixtures Officer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Regularly visits company’s vessels to report on their condition and/or supervise repairs.</li><li>Performs riding attendance as defined by the Maintenance Manager, including preparation for third-party inspections (e.g., terminals, port state, class, flag, P&amp;I), always ensuring compliance with the company's safety, quality, and environmental standards.</li><li>Monitors the repair and maintenance of vessels, offering similar support to the rest of the fleet vessels.&nbsp;</li><li>Attends dry dockings to ensure all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager and/or Technical SupEng are carried out to specification, ensuring the vessel is delivered in seaworthy condition and ready in all respects.</li><li>Assists in preparing dry dock and repair specifications.</li><li>Provides technical support to the personnel onboard.</li><li>Attends new acquisitions and vessel sales to new buyers.</li><li>Travels abroad to ports frequented by the company's vessels to conduct inspections, assist onboard personnel, and monitor the preparation of third-party inspections.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Chief Engineer’s or 2nd&nbsp;Engineer’s license and minimum 3 years of sea service at these positions.</li><li>Office experience as Superintendent Engineer will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Travel mobility.</li></ul>

Roving Engineer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conducts Internal ISM/ISPS Audits and MLC inspections to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established controls and procedures.</li><li>Prepares the vessels as required in order to comply with international auditing requirements.</li><li>Supports the vessels through External ISM/ISPS Audits and MLC inspections.</li><li>Drafts the Internal Audit plan/charter and prepares Audit reports.</li><li>Keeps records of imposed Non Conformities/Observations from Internal &amp; External Audits and follows up corrective actions in order to enhance the implementation of respective requirements.</li><li>Monitors certificates, Internal &amp; External Audit reports through Navision in order to ensure for the validity onboard the vessels and the will be carried out within the required interval.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field.</li><li>Postgraduate degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field will be considered an asset.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience at a similar position in a shipping company.</li><li>Knowledge of applicable ISM / ISPS / MLC standards.</li><li>Certified Auditor from recognized training center.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Ability to monitor and stay abreast of developments in legislation and international requirements changes.</li></ul>

S&Q Auditor

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Organizes and coordinates the purchasing of supplies required by the Technical and Marine, Safety &amp; Quality Department, in an efficient and effective manner and based on the required specifications.</li><li>Obtains quotations from the “approved” suppliers, prepares comparison tables and submits to the Supplies Manager and the Procurement Director.</li><li>Maintains and expands the “Approved Vendors” list.</li><li>Negotiates prices, if required, and prepares the relevant evaluation forms.</li><li>Places orders in accordance with the approvals obtained and ensures that each purchase order is recorded to the electronic purchasing system and that the supply cycle operates effectively.</li><li>Cooperates with the Forwarding department for the delivery of the supplies onboard the vessel and instructs suppliers, Master and Agents accordingly.</li><li>Verifies completion of delivery and collects all supporting documentation.</li><li>Checks the relevant invoices and attaches the vessels’ confirmation of receipt for relevant supplies in order to proceed with the payment process.</li><li>Follows up until the vessel confirms that the supplies have been delivered onboard.</li><li>Creates and maintains systems, subsystems, items and the database for supplies in Navision application electronic system.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor degree in any discipline, preferably in Shipping.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>MS Office literacy.</li><li>Knowledge of Navision will be an asset.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills.</li></ul>

Supplies Operator

Responsibilities:Assists and provides support to the technical superintendents in organizing, coordinating, monitoring and following-up various outstanding items, defect reports, repairs and in organizing attendances for onboard services (external providers, service stations etc.).Assists in organizing new projects and dry-dockings under the guidance of the technical superintendents.Monitors and reviews vessel consumptions and various analysis reports and distributes respective files accordingly.Records and monitors the vessels’ technical superintendent attendance intervals, the produced reports and the identified deficiencies and ensures proper filing and record keeping.Monitors the status of certificates and coordinates their renewals. Ensures the certificates’ due dates monitoring system is always kept updated, communicates with the vessel’s class society and schedules, organizes and coordinates class attendances.Provides technical support and any additional technical documentation and assistance to shipboard personnel for the proper operation and maintenance of the vessels’ machinery and equipment. Ensures proper record keeping practices are followed-up on board. Ensures that all vessel’s reports, forms, records etc. are received timely, reviewed as required and filed accordingly.Ensures company’s policies and procedures are followed within the department. Prepares various reports, collects vessel performance data as required for the technical department’s reporting of KPIs.Inputs the various technical information, service reports in the company’s system as well as information related to purchasing, invoicing, certification and various technical matters.Occasionally attends a vessel as deemed necessary.Provides any other related assistance as required by the Fleet/Technical Manager or the Technical Director. Qualifications / Experience:University degree in Engineering / Naval Architecture and minimum 2 years of experience in the Technical department of a shipping company.Fluency in English.Computer literate.Excellent communication skills.Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously within strict deadlines.

Technical Coordinator

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Organizes and implements courses of action for matters of technical nature arising onboard vessels.</li><li>Instructs, coordinates and monitors works / repairs.</li><li>Follows up on the maintenance status, condition and operation of assigned vessels and co-operates with the crew, in order to ensure that assigned vessels are operating in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Attends vessels and periodically sails on-board to ensure the technical condition of the equipment.</li><li>Monitors and verifies vessel’s performance, supervises repairs, reports findings, follows-up closure of defects etc.</li><li>Provides training and technical advice to shipboard personnel, as necessary.</li><li>Implements effectively preventive maintenance of ship’s hull, main machinery, deck machinery, etc.</li><li>Monitors Class and Flag State requirements and plans required surveys accordingly.</li><li>Deals with any damage repairs or modifications, preserving the vessels commercial competence.</li><li>Monitors all technical problems, major defects and follows-up, until corrective action is verified.</li><li>Controls and monitors the lub-oil and bunker quality and consumption.</li><li>Prepares repairs / conversions, dry-docking, special surveys, damage and voyage repairs, and specifications and supervises the execution of all such works.</li><li>Attends delivery of new acquisitions.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:1. Degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture and minimum 6 years of office experience or Chief Engineer’s license, minimum 3 years of sea service as Chief Engineer and 1 year of office experience as Superintendent Engineer.2. Technical Superintendent

Vessels IT Officer

Responsibilities:Monitors pre-vetting preparations and prepares the vessel for vetting inspections, as per the Company’s standards, SMS requirements and all international and flag state legislation (also based on Dry-BMS standards).Carries out investigation analysis, following the completion of on board inspections.Assists the vessels during vetting inspections. Qualifications / Experience:Familiarity with pre-vetting / vetting inspections' requirements,Captain Class A diploma or Chief Engineer’s license or BSc in Naval Architecture / Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 2 years of experience at a similar position of a shipping company.Excellent communication skills.Fluency in English.Computer literate.

Vetting Officer

We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to join our Marine &amp; Technical department. In this role, you will ensure that owned ships are managed with the highest quality of standards and their condition is always kept at the top levels, following global quality standards and best marine practices at all times.
