Evidera is seeking a Sr Account Director, Business Development with proven business development, client management, and stakeholder management skills to drive the success of the consulting practice areas.Evidera provides strategic support to executives at leading Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Health IT companies. Our work leverages Scientific research, data analysis, and extensive experience to support critical commercial and development decisions for pharmaceutical product strategy and opportunity assessment, commercial, evidence generation strategies, competitive strategy, and product commercialization for market access.This position offers a unique entrepreneurial experience for a candidate who has been part of a team with demonstrated success in advising and winning new clients, and who understands life sciences, as well as associated market and business issues in&nbsp;HEOR, Market Access and RWE.&nbsp;This position provides the opportunity to be an integral part of a team, with experience the benefits that come with a rewarding career.Essential Functions<ul><li>Client Account &amp; Relationship Management</li><li>Client Account Development to drive new business opportunities across our consulting practice areas&nbsp;</li><li>Drive Client Account strategy and development through strategic and tactical account planning in partnership with the scientific research delivery teams</li><li>Work in collaboration with sales operations, finance, legal and other internal support functions to drive and close business and achieve sales authorization targets</li></ul>QualificationsThis role&nbsp;requires&nbsp;consultative,&nbsp;proactive&nbsp;sales&nbsp;activities&nbsp;directed&nbsp;at&nbsp;decision-makers&nbsp;and&nbsp;decision&nbsp;influencers&nbsp;at&nbsp;existing&nbsp;and&nbsp;new client contacts. Proactively find and qualify opportunities including defining&nbsp;the solutions&nbsp;and recommending pricing structures to meet strategic&nbsp;goals.&nbsp;Serve&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;primary&nbsp;contact&nbsp;until&nbsp;project&nbsp;KO, then&nbsp;coordinates&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;relevant&nbsp;business&nbsp;area(s)&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;a successful&nbsp;implementation.&nbsp;Act&nbsp;as&nbsp;a liaison between Evidera business units and PPD CRG on&nbsp;all business&nbsp;development&nbsp;activities&nbsp;and&nbsp;requirements.Qualifications:Education&nbsp;and&nbsp;Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree&nbsp;or&nbsp;equivalent&nbsp;and&nbsp;relevant&nbsp;formal&nbsp;academic&nbsp;/&nbsp;vocational qualification</li><li>Previous&nbsp;experience&nbsp;that&nbsp;provides the&nbsp;knowledge,&nbsp;skills,&nbsp;and&nbsp;abilities&nbsp;to&nbsp;perform&nbsp;the&nbsp;job&nbsp;(comparable&nbsp;to 5+&nbsp;years’)&nbsp;or&nbsp;equivalent&nbsp;combination&nbsp;of&nbsp;education,&nbsp;training,&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;experience.</li><li>Years of&nbsp;experience refers&nbsp;to typical years of&nbsp;related&nbsp;experience&nbsp;needed&nbsp;to gain the required knowledge, skills, and&nbsp;abilities necessary to perform&nbsp;the&nbsp;essential&nbsp;functions&nbsp;of the job.&nbsp;Years of&nbsp;experience are not to be&nbsp;used as the only determining&nbsp;factor&nbsp;in&nbsp;establishing&nbsp;the&nbsp;job class&nbsp;or&nbsp;making&nbsp;employment&nbsp;selection decisions.</li></ul>Knowledge,&nbsp;Skills&nbsp;and&nbsp;Abilities:<ul><li>&nbsp;Scientific,&nbsp;sales&nbsp;and/or&nbsp;marketing&nbsp;background&nbsp;with&nbsp;concentration&nbsp;in&nbsp;pharmaceutical/biotech&nbsp;area.</li><li>&nbsp;Proven&nbsp;track&nbsp;record of&nbsp;developing&nbsp;mid-&nbsp;and&nbsp;high-&nbsp;level business contacts.</li><li>&nbsp;Excellent interpersonal skills in order&nbsp;to&nbsp;manage&nbsp;and&nbsp;fully&nbsp;integrate&nbsp;with&nbsp;Operations,&nbsp;Finance,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Marketing,&nbsp;and&nbsp;follow-up&nbsp;to&nbsp;expand&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;relationships&nbsp;and&nbsp;business&nbsp;opportunities.</li><li>&nbsp;Demonstrated&nbsp;experience&nbsp;in identifying&nbsp;and developing sales leads, making professional presentations, managing the sales process&nbsp;through&nbsp;close,&nbsp;and&nbsp;handling&nbsp;all&nbsp;aspects&nbsp;of&nbsp;contract&nbsp;negotiations.</li><li>&nbsp;Understanding&nbsp;of&nbsp;sales&nbsp;automation&nbsp;systems&nbsp;and&nbsp;Microsoft&nbsp;Office&nbsp;programs.</li></ul>Management RoleNo&nbsp;current&nbsp;management&nbsp;responsibility but could extend in the futureWorking&nbsp;Conditions&nbsp;and Environment:<ul><li>&nbsp;Work is performed in&nbsp;an&nbsp;office&nbsp;environment&nbsp;with&nbsp;exposure&nbsp;to&nbsp;electrical&nbsp;office&nbsp;equipment.</li><li>&nbsp;Occasional&nbsp;drives&nbsp;to&nbsp;site&nbsp;locations&nbsp;with&nbsp;occasional&nbsp;travel&nbsp;both&nbsp;domestic&nbsp;and&nbsp;international</li></ul>Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
