ACS Athens is seeking an Ed Tech Teacher Coach / Data Analyst to support faculty and the broader school community in the effective use of PowerSchool (SIS) and Schoology (LMS) following their implementation. This role will provide coaching, training, and ongoing system support while also supporting academic leadership through data reporting and analysis.The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening instructional technology practices, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting schoolwide consistency in teaching, assessment, and communication.&nbsp;Key ResponsibilitiesTeacher Coaching &amp; Professional Learning<ul><li>Coach and support teachers in the effective use of PowerSchool and Schoology for instruction, grading, assessment, and communication. </li><li>Design and deliver individual and group training sessions across divisions. </li><li>Develop clear resources (guides, tutorials, templates, FAQs) to support consistent platform use. </li><li>Collaborate with academic leaders to identify faculty development needs and promote best practices in digital learning. </li></ul>System Support &amp; Platform Optimization<ul><li>Partner with the Technology Office to support platform functionality and continuous improvement. </li><li>Troubleshoot common issues and support workflow efficiency for teachers. </li><li>Support consistency and accuracy of gradebooks, assignments, attendance, and reporting. </li><li>Collect feedback and recommend improvements to academic and technology leadership. </li></ul>Schoolwide Digital Subscriptions Management<ul><li>Manage and oversee schoolwide subscriptions for online platforms and educational technology tools. </li><li>Maintain a current inventory of digital resources, licenses, renewal timelines, and vendor information. </li><li>Coordinate renewal planning and support evaluation of new tools aligned with instructional priorities. </li></ul>Data Analysis &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Generate reports and support academic data analysis using PowerSchool and Schoology tools. </li><li>Support leadership and faculty in using data to inform instruction and student support. </li><li>Ensure data integrity and consistent reporting practices across divisions. </li></ul>Community Support<ul><li>Support students and parents in navigating PowerSchool and Schoology. </li><li>Contribute to orientation sessions and communication materials in collaboration with relevant offices. </li></ul>&nbsp;QualificationsRequired<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred). </li><li>3–5 years of teaching experience in a technology-rich environment. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of PowerSchool and/or Schoology (or comparable SIS/LMS systems). </li><li>Demonstrated ability to train and support adults through coaching and professional development. </li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience in instructional coaching, educational technology leadership, or faculty training. </li><li>Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and academic performance metrics. </li><li>Experience managing digital tools or schoolwide subscriptions. </li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills. </li><li>Ability to translate technical systems into practical classroom applications. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially regarding data accuracy. </li><li>Collaborative, service-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. </li><li>Alignment with ACS Athens’ mission and the Conscious Citizenship model. </li></ul>&nbsp;Success Indicators<ul><li>Increased faculty confidence and consistent use of PowerSchool and Schoology. </li><li>Improved efficiency and accuracy in grading, reporting, and communication. </li><li>Well-managed schoolwide subscriptions with clear oversight and timely renewals. </li><li>Positive feedback from teachers, students, and families regarding support and training. </li><li>Increased use of data-informed instructional practices across divisions.</li></ul>
