The Engineer’s role is to set the priorities for the construction execution focusing on the best utilization of the available resources, the effective response to potential bottlenecks and delays and the timely and efficient delivery of the project.&nbsp;Your day to day will include:<ul><li>Reviewing the technical documents / certifications / licenses that are necessary for the execution of the construction services</li><li>Reviewing the technical designs, proceeding to budget estimation, and providing support and guidance to the vendors and technicians for the accurate execution of the constructions</li><li>Setting the priorities for the construction execution focusing on the best utilization of the available resources, the effective response to potential risks and the timely and efficient delivery of the project</li><li>Coordinating implementation of design standards between the teams of internal – external engineers and agents</li><li>Following-up and monitoring the execution progress of the project in terms of deliverables, budget, and time plan, while preparing relevant reports</li><li>Assessing the quality of the deliverables from the vendors and validating their compliance with technical specifications, loan prerequisites and designs</li><li>Monitoring and approving the actual store budgets for OPAP constructed stores</li><li>Handling the resolution of technical issues providing necessary support and guidance</li><li>Supporting other teams in on site front line roll out implementation on an ad hoc basis</li><li>Reviewing the invoices submitted from the vendors and validating their compliance as per the work delivered</li><li>Generating reports and providing information and insight regarding the project progress</li><li>Liaising with government authorities, assisting with technical administration material</li></ul>&nbsp;What you need to succeed:<ul><li>BSc in Civil Engineering, Architect, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering</li><li>MSc degree is desirable</li><li>4+ years of related hands-on experience in the management of construction projects</li><li>Excellent knowledge of a design software (AUTOCAD)</li><li>Excellent presentation and communication skills in both Greek and English (oral and written)</li><li>Ability to supervise from small scale to large scale construction projects</li><li>Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)</li><li>Very good knowledge of architectural subject and related legal framework</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to travel and work across Greece</li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce platform will be considered a plus</li><li>Excellent organizational and project management skills</li><li>Goal orientation with ability to deliver high quality results within strict deadlines</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Genuine team player mentality able to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholders</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;What’s in it for you?<ul><li>An award-winning working environment&nbsp;🚀</li><li>State of the art facilities including gym &amp; restaurant&nbsp;🏢</li><li>Hybrid working model&nbsp;💻</li><li>Competitive salary package and bonus scheme&nbsp;💸</li><li>Health insurance coverage &amp; Pension Plan&nbsp;🙏</li><li>Monthly food allowance&nbsp;🍴</li><li>Continuous learning with classroom/digital trainings by OpapAcademy&nbsp;🎓</li><li>Internal Career Opportunities&nbsp;💼</li><li>Well-Being Activities&nbsp;💪</li></ul>&nbsp;OPAP Group is an equal opportunity employer&nbsp;Does this sound like you? We work together to shape the future of energy and we focus on developing and empowering our people, cultivating their talents that will shape our future journey towards the energy transition.<h2>Starting with the role:</h2>Currently we are searching to hire a Grid Engineering Specialist who will be responsible for designing electrical grid systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.<h2>During your day you will:</h2><ul><li>Design electrical grid systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks</li><li>Ensure compliance of grid systems and projects with industry standards, regulations, and safety codes</li><li>Support the development of detailed electrical grid designs and specifications</li><li>Stay updated on regulatory changes and incorporate necessary adjustments into grid designs and operations</li><li>Provide support during CAPEX calculation of grid works and assist in technical due diligence</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams across Renewables and Project Development Departments providing technical support to field engineers and technicians, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders&nbsp;</li><li>Attend meetings with Distribution Network and Transmission System Operators (HEDNO, IPTO), supports the preparation of RFQs, and reviews supplier’s and contractor’s technical documentation</li><li>Develop and analyze electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints using CAD software and engineering tools</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering</li><li>Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus.</li><li>At least 3 years of experience in the Renewable Energy Sector (Wind Farms or PVs)</li><li>Experience in power systems in relation to RES</li><li>Basic understanding of the technical components &amp; design considerations, of electrical grid, performance and O&amp;M practices in Substations and Grid Interconnections</li><li>Basic understanding of grid design principles, protection schemes, and automation systems</li><li>Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)</li><li>Very good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Word and Excel</li></ul>
