2025 Discover Graduate Program Greece | Data & Analytics @ Crete

As a Data Engineer you will design, implement, and maintain data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with Product Owner and Solution Architect to understand business, technical needs and objectives as well as with the Data Engineers to ensure the smooth data feed from source systems to various Destinations.&nbsp;&nbsp;More specifically you will: &nbsp;<ul><li>Work closely with Product Owner, Solution Architect and Data Engineers to develop new flows in and migrate the existing on premises infrastructure to GCP.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in reviewing appropriate architecture, code and requirements and making recommendations to Business and Product.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure the quality control of data pipelines and promote best data engineering practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, CI/CD, and apply them to enhance our data infrastructure.&nbsp;</li></ul>Who you are<ul><li>At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, designing and developing data flows for data products to public cloud platforms &nbsp;</li><li>Experience with Cloud Technologies and Serverless Computing (GCP)&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of batch and data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Dataflow, Kinesis).&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of Python or any other Object-Oriented programming language.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with orchestration tools, (e.g., Apache Airflow, GCP Composer, Astronomer, Airbyte, Perfect ) for workflow automation and scheduling.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes). &nbsp;</li><li>Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform will be highly appreciated&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in enterprise transformation projects will be highly appreciated&nbsp;</li><li>Promoter of cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working with Agile methodologies / in Agile teams is strongly preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Self-motivated with strong time management skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek &amp; English.&nbsp;</li></ul>Not a perfect fit?Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly? Data Engineer (Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion Crete)

As a Submarine Cable Station Engineer, you will be focused on managing submarine cable systems and facilities at the Tympaki Station in Crete, Greece, ensuring operational readiness and customer service quality. The role involves supervision, incident management, and collaboration across various teams (Station Staff Cable Noc, Station customers, Submarine, Deployment &amp; Operations teams) to maintain network stability and support submarine cable operations. More specifically: • &nbsp; &nbsp;Supervision and manage of submarine equipment in the Cable Stations-Station routines. Attend incidences when on call. Being able to Manage, support, maintain and control the NOC when need and the cable station equipments. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Supervision and manage the facilities in the station to detect any malfunction and prevent outages for the submarine equipment . Coordinate and assist for maintenance periodical operations of the facilities. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain knowledge and experience of the various aspects of the submarine equipment management. Maintain relationship with submarine Customers and Submarine engineering team as well as Deployment team • &nbsp; &nbsp;Support on submarine cuts. Provide measures, details of the service affection to the Submarine Engineering Team and follow their instructions.Who you are• &nbsp; &nbsp;HNC or above in Engineering or Relevant technical experience. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Minimum of 3 years experience on submarine • &nbsp; &nbsp;High customer focused individual who is self- driven towards defined goals • &nbsp; &nbsp;Minimum of 3 years experience in submarine telecommunications field or Network operations environment demonstrating a strong background in transmission platform builds; with a clear understanding of the technologies used within Vodafone&nbsp; • &nbsp; &nbsp;Proven ability to investigate problem situations, consider key perspectives, analyse needs, evaluate options and define user requirements. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Capable of working in virtual teams in cross cultural working environment and at times of heavier workload to drive solutions • &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong team player with proven record of achieving goals set.Not a perfect fit?Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
