With deep functional and sector expertise, paired with innovative AI-powered technology and an investor mindset, we partner with CEOs, boards, private equity and governments every step of the way.&nbsp;We have ambitious plans and we are looking for a Senior Valuations Analyst, mid-level professional in terms of experience, to join our dynamic and highly motivating Valuations, Modelling and Economics team in Athens and support the implementation of our EY-Parthenon practice work and initiatives throughout Greece.As a member of the Valuations, Modelling and Economics team at EY, you will help global organizations make strategic decisions by providing responsive, objective advice on valuing businesses, shares, and assets. You will help those clients make better and more informed decisions about how they strategically manage capital and transactions in a changing world. That means advising businesses on how they preserve, optimize, raise, and invest their capital to help them achieve their strategic objectives.&nbsp;&nbsp;Your key responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare analyses of historical and pro-forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements and deal valuation</li><li>Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information</li><li>Develop integrated financial models and prepare financial forecasts in excel environment</li><li>Produce reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties</li><li>Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel</li></ul>&nbsp;Skills and attributes for success&nbsp;What we look for<ul><li>Strong academic background, including a bachelor's degree from a top university in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration, or other related field with strong quantitative focus. An MSc degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), and/or any other related field with strong quantitative focus and business acumen will be considered a strong asset.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong relevant work experience, working in valuations, financial statement analysis and financial modelling.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal skills, both in Greek and English.</li><li>Advanced knowledge in MS Office packages, in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>Excellent team participation skills, particularly in teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, coupled with the ability and desire to coach and mentor others.</li><li>Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.</li><li>Ability to think outside of the box, problem-solving and time management skills, coupled with strong attention to detail, numerical/analytical ability and a sound grasp of financial accounting.</li><li>Professionalism and consistency in approach to client work, internal business, and practice development.</li></ul>&nbsp;Ideally, you’ll also have<ul><li>Experience in a Big4 professional services firm, or another multinational firm</li><li>An active ACCA/ACA/CFA certification (or in a final stage of completion)</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;What we offerWe will fuel your ambition and potential with future-focused skills development that equips you with state-of-the-art methodologies and technology-enabled solutions.
