As a Permanent Magnet Scientist in our team, you will focus on the R&amp;D of both low and high-performance permanent magnets. Your work will span the full magnet lifecycle,&nbsp;from alloy design and powder production through compaction, sintering, heat treatment, and magnetic characterization.&nbsp;This role requires&nbsp;deep&nbsp;understanding of metallurgy, rare-earth magnet processing, and structure-property&nbsp;performance relationships, with an emphasis on translating laboratory development into robust, scalable manufacturing processes.&nbsp;Τι θα κάνετε<ul><li>Document the current state-of-the-art technologies.</li><li>Couple magnet technologies with their corresponding magnetic properties.</li><li>Develop R&amp;D roadmaps for next-generation materials.</li><li>Document the available development methods of permanent magnets, from alloy&nbsp;selection&nbsp;and powder production to compaction, sintering, and post-sinter heat treatments.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Perform root cause analysis of&nbsp;magnetic, mechanical, or processing failures using data-driven and metallurgical approaches.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Author and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions, and training documentation for material processes.&nbsp;</li></ul>Τι θα έχετε μαζί σας<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Ceramics, Physics, or&nbsp;a related field.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in rare-earth magnet processing, powder metallurgy, or closely related materials systems.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Hands-on&nbsp;experience on:&nbsp;Rare -earth&nbsp;alloy&nbsp;processing,&nbsp;Powder&nbsp;preparation&nbsp;and&nbsp;milling,&nbsp;Magnetic&nbsp;field&nbsp;alignment&nbsp;and&nbsp;compaction,&nbsp;Sintering and post-sinter heat&nbsp;treatments&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of microstructure–magnetic property relationships in&nbsp;magnetic&nbsp;materials.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with thermal processing systems (vacuum furnaces, sintering furnaces), inert-atmosphere powder handling, and magnet fabrication equipment.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with magnetic characterization techniques (e.g., hysteresis loops, flux measurements) is highly desirable.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to solve complex material and process challenges using structured, data-driven methods.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication&nbsp;and collaboration skills, with experience working with engineering, quality, and production teams.&nbsp;</li></ul>

Automation - Engineering Internship (2 months duration/University Programs)

This role is a key part of our factory’s technical operations, ensuring that our production lines run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with Flora Food Group standards. As a member of the maintenance team, you will work hands‑on with state-of-the-art industrial equipment, contributing both to daily operational continuity and to long-term improvements through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and participation in new technical projects. The position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in electrical and automation systems within a dynamic food-industry environment, where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are at the core of our work.So, what does it take to be successful in this role?Key Accountabilities<ul><li>Complies with all safety rules, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation to support the daily operation of the factory, in line with Flora Food Group standards and our Health &amp; Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policies.</li><li>Ensures the smooth operation of factory machinery and facilities. Participates in the maintenance and repair of machinery and installations, as well as in the implementation of new projects.</li><li>Performs maintenance and repair of production equipment.</li><li>Conducts fault analysis and troubleshooting.</li><li>Follows the preventive maintenance schedule.</li></ul>Key Attributes / Required Skills<ul><li>University or Technical University degree; Licensed Electrical Installer, 1st Category, Type A.</li><li>Minimum of three years of experience in a similar position of responsibility.</li><li>Computer literacy; Degree in Automation Engineering / Electronics or Electrical Engineering.</li><li>Previous experience in the food industry will be considered an asset.</li><li>Strong knowledge in the use and programming of inverters, servo systems, PLCs, and industrial networks.</li><li>High-quality work standards and adherence to the company’s hygiene and safety rules.</li><li>Good command of the English language.</li><li>Ability to work in shifts.</li></ul>
