Service Technician , Athens

We are seeking a talented Metrology Engineering Intern who will support the metrology activities in our team in Athens.Τι θα κάνετε<ul><li>Assist in measuring mechanical parts and assemblies using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, CMM, OMM and Optical Scanner.</li><li>Support dimensional and visual inspections of components against engineering drawings and GD&amp;T standards requirements.</li><li>Design and implementation of jigs and fixtures for new product introductions.</li><li>Record, organize, and report measurement and inspection data accurately.</li><li>Help prepare inspection reports, first article inspections, and nonconformance documentation.</li><li>Assist with setup, operation, and basic maintenance of metrology equipment and fixtures.</li><li>Support gauge and equipment calibration tracking and verification activities.</li><li>Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to investigate dimensional issues and improve inspection methods.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized metrology or inspection area.</li><li>Maintain documentation of measurement results according to Tesla standards</li></ul>Τι θα έχετε μαζί σας<ul><li>Currently enrolled in a degree for Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.</li><li>A basic understanding of GD&amp;T (ASME Y14.5 standards) and the ability to read technical drawings.</li><li>Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) or metrology software (PC-DMIS, Calypso) is a significant plus.</li><li>Familiarity with standard measurement tools and inspection techniques.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>English fluently in speaking, reading and writing.</li></ul>

Metrology Technician Internship

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer who will be working on design and DFM of complex mechanical systems. This engineer will be working as part of the Tesla motor technology team located in Athens, Greece.Τι θα κάνετε<ul><li>Design and 3D modeling of mechanical components and assemblies.</li><li>Release drawings of complex mechanical systems.</li><li>Apply analytical methods including calculations and simulations for the design and optimization of structures and mechanical components.</li><li>Collaborate with other design engineers to gain an in-depth understanding of the design intend and independently work towards the most effective solution.</li><li>Perform experimental tests and simulations to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety standards.</li><li>Perform tolerance analysis to determine system impacts of assembly fits.</li><li>Manage suppliers to execute projects according to the design specifications and timeline commitments.</li><li>Development of test rigs for measurements of complex mechanical systems.</li><li>Rotor dynamics modeling.</li></ul>Τι θα έχετε μαζί σας<ul><li>Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of GD&amp;T.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in computational methods for fluid and thermal systems.</li><li>Strong skills in calculation of components / component optimization using FEA.</li><li>Proficiency in designing parts and assemblies using 3D modeling software.</li><li>Expertise in SolidWorks, CATIA, FEA simulation.</li><li>Demonstrate innovation, technical excellence, attention to detail and self-direction.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.</li><li>English fluently in speaking, reading and writing.</li></ul>
