The American College of Greece (ACG) is seeking a motivated professional to join the Advancement Office as Coordinator, Advancement – Alumni. The successful candidate will support alumni engagement initiatives, philanthropy activities, and the efficient daily operations of the Advancement Office, helping to foster strong and lasting relationships with alumni, parents, donors and the broader ACG community.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Coordinate daily office operations, including managing inquiries, calls/emails, alumni/visitor requests, supplies, requisitions, calendars, meetings, and general administrative tasks.</li><li>Manage the daily content and execution of the Advancement Office’s social media strategy and digital communication platforms, in collaboration with the Communications Manager, to enhance alumni engagement and giving.</li><li>Produce monthly social media and digital media metrics reports and support the development of communication strategy based on these analytics.</li><li>Support the planning and organization of events, solicitation campaigns, and engagement initiatives targeting alumni, parents, and prospects.</li><li>Coordinate scholarship communication for donors and recipients under supervision of the Senior Manager.</li><li>Support donor stewardship activities, including preparing letters, coordinating meetings, and assisting with small events.</li><li>Support outreach, engagement, and solicitation of Pierce Parents, in collaboration with the Executive Director of Advancement – Development.</li><li>Provide administrative support to the Advancement team.</li><li>Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing/Management, Public Relations, or related fields.</li><li>4–6 years of relevant professional experience.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Basic understanding of CRM systems, databases, and digital engagement platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of project management, social media management, and business communication processes.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate creativity.</li><li>Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.</li></ul>Other requirements:<ul><li>Availability to attend and support Advancement Office events when needed.</li></ul>

Coordinator, Advancement – Alumni

The Frances Rich School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Deree – The American College of Greece, is seeking a Part-Time Instructor to teach Graphic Design courses in the Arts and Creative Industries Department.Required Qualifications:Education:<ul><li>Master’s degree (MA, MDes, MFA, or equivalent) in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Animation, Digital Media Arts, or a related field.</li><li>Terminal degree (such as MFA, MDes, or PhD) strongly preferred.</li><li>Equivalent professional experience in kinetic typography and motion graphics will also be considered.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Professional experience in motion graphics, kinetic typography, animation, or visual communication design.</li><li>Teaching experience in undergraduate and/or graduate programs, preferably at an English-speaking institution.</li><li>At least one degree from a US or UK institution.</li><li>Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in motion design, type in motion, and animation tools.</li></ul>Knowledge:<ul><li>The ideal candidate should have expertise in one or more of the following areas:</li><li>Kinetic Typography (conceptual and technical execution)</li><li>Motion Design Principles (timing, pacing, transitions)</li><li>Adobe After Effects and relevant Adobe Creative Cloud tools</li><li>Storytelling through type and motion</li><li>Typography in digital and print environments</li><li>Creative Coding for Motion (e.g., Processing, p5.js, GSAP)</li><li>Experimental Motion Design and Narrative Design</li><li>Fundamentals of Animation</li><li>Integration of Theory and Practice in Design Education</li></ul>General Skills:<ul><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and strong command of spoken and written English.</li><li>Commitment to student-centered, interactive teaching with an emphasis on professional and interpersonal communication.</li><li>Passion for innovative pedagogy and fostering a dynamic, inclusive learning environment.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.</li><li>Potential for scholarly research engagement.</li></ul>Desirable Skills and Attributes:<ul><li>Experience with online and hybrid teaching.</li><li>Active engagement with motion design, typography, or animation communities.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to integrate theory and practice in design education.</li><li>Familiarity with emerging tools and platforms in motion design, AR/VR, or generative design.</li></ul>
