As a Time Charter Freight Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the financial and operational management of our global fleet of time chartered and owned vessels. You will be the bridge between commercial operations and finance, ensuring financial integrity, monitoring voyage economics, and directly influencing shipping profitability.In this fast-paced and highly impactful role, you will manage high-value reconciliations, resolve disputes, and provide actionable insights into voyage performance that inform strategic decisions. Time Charter Freight Analyst

As a Shipping Operator in Trafigura, you will have the opportunity to join a team that manages one of the world’s largest fleets in the world, handling all aspects of Time and Voyage Charter vessel operations for the company. Dry Shipping Operator

We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to join our Marine &amp; Technical department. In this role, you will ensure that owned ships are managed with the highest quality of standards and their condition is always kept at the top levels, following global quality standards and best marine practices at all times. Other responsibilities include managing side projects related but not limited to dry docks, retrofit and other technical project end to end for the appointed vessels.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and monitor the performance of appointed third-party Technical Managers for the owned fleet, including daily operational follow-up and financial performance reporting.</li><li>Oversee vessel technical matters in coordination with Technical Managers, including procurement and supply monitoring and quality assurance of services, maintaining a cost-conscious approach without compromising on standards.</li><li>Provide technical expertise and support across newbuilding programmes and existing fleet technology development, spanning all relevant shipping business types.</li><li>Analyse and document ongoing technical issues and concerns across Trafigura assets, ensuring lessons learned are captured and applied to future projects</li><li>Conduct OPEX analysis and benchmarking; lead timely dry-dock planning and manage fleet retrofit projects, including ESD, EGCS, and BWTS installations. Company’s activities extend to shipping and bunkering businesses. The main purpose of the role is to be involved in several accounting and controlling activities mainly related legal entities having the abovementioned business objectives and report into the Regional European Controller. The role shall require interaction with various departments in terms of transactions accounting treatment as per IFRS, revenue recognition, expenses classification, PnL finalization, management accounts preparation as well as explanatory commentary reports. Work closely with the shared service centres of Trafigura, provide necessary information for completion of activities as well as support when required and ensure that the activities are carried out appropriately. The position provides the opportunity to work in close proximity with several departments such as deals desk and operations.
