Are you passionate about design and motion, and ready to make a significant impact? We are looking for a creative Digital Designer to take on the design and visual experience of our projects (apps &amp; websites). Digital & Motion Designer (3968)

The FPGA team&nbsp;operates within a multi-disciplined group of Optical, Mechanical, Software, and Electrical Engineers. The candidate will closely collaborate with experts from all fields to develop advanced FPGA designs and be responsible for the automatic verification of the FPGA-SoC operation. This position is an excellent opportunity to participate in the development of advanced FPGA-SoC based embedded products and have an impact on the group and company growth.Responsibilities<ul><li>Participate in the definition of the FPGA SoC architecture.</li><li>Develop code and verify core IP blocks for embedded vision algorithms.</li><li>Design the verification strategies for IP blocks and complete FPGA-SoC systems.</li><li>Develop testbenches, simulation blocks, and hardware in the loop designs for the automatic verification, and regression test of FPGA-SoCs.</li><li>Perform synthesis, place-route, and timing closure on FPGAs.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Degree qualified in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>Experience developing at least one of Xilinx/Altera/Microsemi programmable devices along with timing closure skills.</li><li>Experience with RTL coding (VHDL preferred) and simulation tools (Mentor graphics preferred)</li><li>Hands-on experience with designing FPGA SoC with microcontrollers and embedded processors.</li><li>Experience with verification methodologies and verification environments.</li><li>Experience with lab tools like oscilloscopes for HW debugging and testing.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.</li><li>Experience with DevOps like processes for FPGA-SoC verification.</li></ul>

FPGA-SoC Engineer

The Embedded Software Engineer – Linux, will operate within a multi-disciplined group of Optical, Mechanical, FPGA, and Electrical Engineers. The candidate will closely collaborate with experts from all fields to define and produce embedded software applications for the company's line of products based on the Linux kernel, and support production and field operations. This position is an excellent opportunity to participate in the definition of new advanced electro-optical systems and have an impact on the company’s growth.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software applications for various hardware platforms running a Linux based OS.</li><li>Collaborate with hardware engineers, FPGA engineers and software developers to define the application requirements and specifications.</li><li>Implement kernel modules, low-level drivers, protocols, communication interfaces and applications.</li><li>Optimize the application to ensure high performance, efficiency, and reliability.</li><li>Debug and troubleshoot application-related issues.</li><li>Contribute to the development of technical documentation.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>University degree in a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in embedded Linux-based development.</li><li>Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.</li><li>Strong understanding of embedded systems, real-time operation, low level HW interfaces and kernel/driver development.</li><li>Familiarity with Yocto Project.</li><li>Proven experience with at least one of the following topics:</li><li>Computer vision applications.</li><li>Graphical User Interface applications.</li><li>Augmented reality applications.</li><li>Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Familiarity with FPGA based embedded systems.</li><li>Familiarity with Zynq and/or NXP iMX series of application processors.</li><li>Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python).</li></ul>&nbsp;
