Full-time Faculty in Biochemistry

The Department of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Computer Science, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Deree-The American College of Greece is looking for a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate professor depending on qualifications. The candidate must have practical and theoretical knowledge in Cloud Computing Security, Digital Forensics, Data Science on Cyber Security, Security on Operating Systems and Malware Threats. Responsibilities for the position include lecturing in PG and UG courses, research in a related area, curriculum contribution, and department/Institution service. The position offers the potential to be involved with EU funded R&amp;D projects through the ACG-Research, Technology &amp; Innovation Network (RTIN).Qualifications:<ul><li>PhD related to Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing Security, Digital Forensics, Data Science on Cyber Security, Security on Operating Systems and Malware Threats.</li><li>Teaching experience at undergraduate and/or graduate levels, preferably at a US or UK higher education institution.</li><li>A research agenda, a record of publications and/or grant funding.</li><li>Eligibility for Ministry of Education registration number.</li></ul>Required field knowledge &amp; experience:<ul><li>Proficiency in cybersecurity.</li><li>Experience in cybersecurity tools and applications.</li><li>Experience with cloud computing security.</li><li>Excellent skills on operating systems security and malware threats.</li></ul>Desired field knowledge and experience:<ul><li>Experience with applied infrastructure security.</li><li>Knowledge and experience with cloud computing security and technologies.</li><li>Knowledge and experience with digital forensics.</li><li>Experience with online teaching.</li></ul>General Skills:<ul><li>Dependability.</li><li>A commitment to student-centered learning.</li><li>Ability to contribute to the curriculum of related areas and deliver effective teaching.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as a part of a team.</li></ul>Application Deadline:&nbsp;First review of applications: October 30, 2024.
