Reporting directly to the Project Manager and the General Manager, this role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in managing large-scale renovation works, coordinating teams, and ensuring technical excellence throughout the build.Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Take full responsibility for the execution of a €1M+ building reconstruction project (59 apartments) in central Athens</li><li>Lead and manage all on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project timelines</li><li>Develop and maintain the site’s organogram, detailed Gantt schedules (MS Project) and technical documentation</li><li>Interpret architectural and mechanical drawings, propose structural solutions (e.g., steel constructions) using AutoCAD</li><li>Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of materials</li><li>Prepare and evaluate technical specifications, cost estimates, and vendor proposals</li><li>Communicate directly with clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues professionally</li><li>Conduct quantity take-offs and progress measurements for reporting and billing purposes</li><li>Ensure full understanding and control of the site’s timeline, resources, and deliverables</li><li>Collaborate with the Project Manager and senior leadership to align execution with strategic goals</li><li>Any other task that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field; A Master’s degree or certifications in relevant areas will be highly welcomed</li><li>Minimum 7 years of hands-on site experience in large-scale construction or renovation projects</li><li>Proven ability to manage complex projects independently, with full site responsibility</li><li>Excellent understanding of architectural and mechanical drawings and construction methodologies</li><li>Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project (or relevant project management tools)</li><li>Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)</li></ul>Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Strong leadership and ownership mindset</li><li>Excellent communication and client-facing abilities</li><li>Excellent planning and coordination skills</li><li>Proactive and solution-oriented mindset</li><li>Attention to detail and quality focus</li><li>Adaptability in dynamic site environments</li></ul>Apply Now
