You will begin by contributing to functional and exploratory testing activities, while progressively building your skills and exposure to test automation tools and techniques.This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in growing within the Quality Engineering craft. You will also gain exposure to modern testing practices that leverage Generative AI tools to enhance productivity and creativity in testing. During your tenure, your key responsibilities will involve:<ul><li>Test Design &amp; Execution: Contribute to the creation and execution of test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing, based on business requirements and user stories.</li><li>Defect Reporting: Log and track issues in collaboration with developers and business analysts using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.</li><li>Exploratory Testing: Apply a critical-thinking approach to uncover edge cases and validate real-world user behavior.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Reporting: Maintain clear test documentation and contribute to test reports and knowledge bases.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and other QA engineers to understand system functionality and test coverage needs.</li><li>Learning Automation: Participate in team initiatives to learn automation testing tools and practices (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), with mentorship from senior team members.</li><li>Exploring GenAI in Testing: Begin to explore the use of Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to assist in test case generation, data creation, and test script prototyping — with guidance from the team.</li></ul> #WinningRequirements&nbsp;To qualify for the role, you must have:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Up to 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.</li><li>Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and testing fundamentals.</li><li>Familiarity with issue tracking and test case management tools such as Jira, Xray, or TestRail.</li><li>Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.</li><li>A genuine interest in evolving toward test automation, with a willingness to learn relevant tools and scripting languages.</li><li>ISTQB Foundation certification will be considered a plus, as an indication of commitment to the quality discipline.</li><li>Experience in Financial Services (Banking and/or Insurance), Energy, Telecommunication or other relevant sectors will be considered a plus.</li><li>Military obligations fulfilled, where applicable.</li></ul>#AboutTechnology&amp;TransformationFive core competency areas make up our Technology &amp; Transformation service line:<ul><li>Cyber;</li><li>Engineering, AI &amp; Data;</li><li>Enterprise, Technology &amp; Performance;</li><li>Deloitte Digital;</li><li>Human Capital.</li></ul> We exist to solve complex problemsOur consultants are renowned for their straightforward approach to solving some of the world’s largest and most complex business challenges.
