Our Financial Advisory team is experiencing strong growth, resulting in a number of opportunities arising for talented and ambitious individuals looking to develop a career in Financial Advisory services.The key responsibilities of this role will include:<ul><li>Manage and support Corporate Finance, M&amp;A, and loan portfolio transactions, including preparation of detailed financial analyses, transaction materials, and high-quality client deliverables</li><li>Develop and review comprehensive business plans and dynamic financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and restructuring projects</li><li>Design and implement financing and restructuring solutions, including debt profiling, refinancing, and capital structure optimization</li><li>Support and participate in negotiations with banks, investors, and other key stakeholders</li><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle</li><li>Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members, providing guidance, technical oversight, and constructive feedback</li><li>Collaborate closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, high-performance environment</li><li>Contribute to special projects and internal initiatives focused on innovation, scalability, and operational excellence</li></ul>To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BSc/MSc) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with strong academic achievement</li><li>5 - 8+ years of relevant experience in Financial Advisory, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or related fields, with prior experience in a leading consulting or professional services firm</li><li>Completion of (or progress toward) a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA)</li><li>Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS, Greek GAAP)</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken</li><li>Proactivity, adaptability, attention to detail, and professionalism in client-facing work</li></ul><ul><li>Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable)</li></ul>What’s in it for You?At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards! Financial Advisory Supervisor/Manager

Join our team as a Port Operations Manager where you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of port agency services. This role includes managing a team of port agents, ensuring efficient vessel operation, and providing high quality customer service to cruise lines. Based in Piraeus, you will ensure play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and maintaining smooth port operations. ABOUT THE JOB<ul><li>Oversee and manage all operational requirements related to vessel calls, ensuring smooth and efficient port operations.</li><li>Responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations at the port to ensure the team adheres to port policies, governing laws, procedures, and best practices.</li><li>Responsible of interacting, creating, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, government officials and port/terminal authorities to ensure operational success.</li><li>Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to port agents, ensuring they meet performance standards and adhere to operational requirements. This may include providing on-site support during peak seasons.</li><li>Coordinate and liaise with all vendors to ensure that the equipment and services provided meets the expectations of Intercruises and its clients.</li><li>Ensure all respective sailing documents are completed within a timely manner to ensure invoicing/billing is on track.</li><li>Actively participate in conference calls with vessels and or cruise lines when needed.</li><li>Responsible for the creation of port agent schedule to ensure coverage. Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage workload distribution to optimize efficiency and productivity.</li><li>Independently oversee reporting agent’s team, responsible for training, performance evaluations and recruitment/selection in collaboration with Human Resources.</li><li>Conduct regular evaluations of team performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and development.</li><li>Report all incidents related to work processes and employee performance and follow through on corrective actions.</li></ul>ABOUT YOU<ul><li>Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal); additional language skills are a plus.</li><li>Educational background: A good academic background is required; maritime studies or related qualifications are highly desirable.</li><li>Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Port Agent or Supervisor in port operations.</li><li>Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
