YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Your role as a Trainee/Junior Lawyer will focus on the delivery of client engagements, exercising effective communication and relationship-building skills, as well as contributing to the priorities of the team. In this role, you will commit to personal learning and development and explore opportunities to make an impact by delivering exceptional legal services. During your tenure, you will demonstrate and develop the ability to: <ul><li>Provide legal, practical solutions to complex legal issues while delivering a high-quality output, making an impact for our clients and creating trusted relationships;</li><li>Provide legal advice relating to:<ul><li>supporting the role of external Data Protection Officer, carrying out data protection tasks, such as handling data subject requests, assisting in personal data breaches, consulting on data protection impact assessments, delivering advice on legal and regulatory requirements on data protection matters and helping deliver privacy trainings to employees;</li><li>assisting in privacy management operational activities, such as conducting data mapping exercises, drafting or reviewing privacy notices, privacy policies and procedures;</li><li>Draft, review and support in negotiations of commercial agreements on all data protection, cybersecurity and cyber-resilience matters;</li><li>cooperate with cross-functional teams to conduct M&amp;A due diligence on data protection, cybersecurity, intellectual property and other legal and regulatory compliance matters.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Conduct legal research and analysis on data protection, cybersecurity, intellectual property and artificial intelligence.</li></ul> OUR REQUIREMENTS Our ideal candidate is a bright and ambitious young lawyer/trainee lawyer that focuses on delivering work of high quality, commits to a high level of client service, and has the ability to build strong client relationships.
