Intellectica is recruiting on behalf of its client, a rapidly growing group of companies active in architecture, construction, and hospitality development, headquartered in Athens. The company is currently seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer for a full-time, year-round position. The successful candidate, reporting directly to the Lead Engineer, will join the company’s construction engineering team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality building projects across Greece.Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Ensuring consistent on-site presence at project locations, both within and outside Attica, to oversee execution and represent the company’s interests</li><li>Supervising on-site construction activities to ensure accurate implementation of architectural and structural plans</li><li>Monitoring construction progress and ensure adherence to approved timelines, specifications, and safety standards</li><li>Identifying and resolving technical or operational issues during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project flow</li><li>Managing building projects using modern project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality in line with corporate objectives</li><li>Preparing detailed project budgets and cost estimations, and monitoring financial performance throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>Assessing and negotiating subcontractor and supplier offers to ensure value and alignment with project requirements</li><li>Maintaining effective communication with all project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams</li><li>Collaborating closely with architectural and hospitality departments to ensure seamless integration of design and construction</li><li>Tracking and reporting on project milestones, risks, and progress to the central engineering team</li><li>Any other tasks that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field</li><li>PMP certification from PMI is a plus</li><li>At least 5 years of proven experience in construction site management within a technical or construction company</li><li>Proven experience managing medium to large-scale hospitality projects</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural works and site operations</li><li>Solid understanding of budgeting and cost control in construction</li><li>Strong proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD (or equivalent design software); SAP knowledge is a plus</li><li>Valid driving license</li><li>Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken)</li></ul>Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Strong organizational, time-management, and coordination skills</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li><li>Creative problem-solving and adaptability</li><li>High attention to detail and commitment to quality</li><li>Proactive and eager to stay updated with industry developments</li></ul>

The Architect/Civil Engineer will work with the Retail Construction Project Team through a fixed-term&nbsp;contract, monitoring and controlling surveys related to OPAP Stores network development. Architect Engineer (Fixed-Term / Subcontractor-Athens) (3687)
