The Department of Communication, Frances Rich School Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Deree-The American College of Greece is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate must have a solid academic background and practical knowledge in advertising communication, especially in one or more of the following areas: digital marketing, strategic planning, and/or brand management. Responsibilities for the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research in one or more of the above areas, contributing to curriculum development, and providing service to the Department/School and the College.Qualifications:<ul><li>PhD in advertsing communication or a related field.</li><li>Track record of publications and/or grant funding</li><li>Eligibility for Ministry of Education registration number.</li></ul>Required field knowledge &amp; experience:<ul><li>Proficient knowledge in the broader field of advertising communication and of at least one of areas identified in this call : digital marketing, strategic planning, and/or brand management.</li><li>Very good knowledge of the advertising industry and related professional practices.</li><li>Clearly defined research interests and expertise in digital marketing, strategic planning, and/or brand management.</li><li>Teaching experience at undergraduate and/or graduate levels, preferably at a US or UK higher education institution.</li></ul>Desired field knowledge and experience:<ul><li>Experience in the advertising industry.</li><li>Knowledge of more than one area of study in advertising communication identified in this call.</li><li>Administrative experience as area/programme coordinator or director of studies.</li><li>Experience in course and curriculum design and development.</li><li>Experience in accreditation or validation of academic programmes.</li></ul>General Skills:<ul><li>Dependability.</li><li>A commitment to student-centered learning.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding command of spoken and written English</li><li>Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.</li></ul>

Assistant professor in Advertising Communication

As Recruiter - Supply Chain, you will be responsible to implement effective talent acquisition programs, processes and solutions that will attract the right talent for the organization.&nbsp;What You'll Do:&nbsp;<ul><li>Manage the overall recruitment process (advertising, sourcing, interviewing, recommendation), negotiate competitive offers and implement local onboarding programs.</li><li>Meet regularly with hiring managers, business leaders and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs, implement sourcing strategy, identify potential gaps in the process and suggest solutions for all issues evolving during the hiring process.</li><li>Monitor the costs of the recruitment process.</li><li>Develop new and innovative sourcing pipelines, partner with other stakeholders like universities/technical schools and participate in career events to increase candidate flow.</li><li>Use social media sites to promote the BIC employer brand, post jobs and engage candidates.</li><li>Manage the overall candidate experience, guide hiring managers on the process and make recommendations for continuous improvement.</li><li>Explore the market best practices in recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices.</li><li>Partner with global Talent Acquisition team.</li></ul>&nbsp;What You Bring to BIC:&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree&nbsp;</li><li>Starting recruiting experience with mass recruitment in a corporate recruiting role and/or in an agency/search firm role</li><li>Excellent communication skills (verbal &amp; written)</li><li>Fluency in Engish</li><li>Previous experience in&nbsp; FMCG Sector is appreciated</li><li>Knowledge of SAP Success Factors or any other HR system</li><li>Multi-tasking, organizational, presentation, collaboration and negotiation skills&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;
