The position involves working on Java technologies, developing/maintaining their core back-end software system and facing fresh challenges along with your team members every day. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in the field of software development and eager to contribute &amp; work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.The position will be located at their&nbsp;Athens office.Responsibilities<ul><li>You will be part of a team, who designs and implements features for their core back-end system, which handles from tens to hundreds of millions requests per day</li><li>Your code should be designed with performance and quality in mind; you will test your code and write automated tests</li><li>You document and communicate your work with your team in order to deliver daily releases</li><li>You will work closely with software, product developers and QA engineers</li><li>You will be reviewing code, and your code will be reviewed</li><li>As part of the team, you will participate in the collaborative team activities</li></ul>Their StackJava 17, Gradle, MySQL 8, MemSQL, ScyllaDB, Couchbase, JUnit5/TestNG, Mockito, Kafka, Hibernate, Elastic / ELK, Kibana, Grafana, Jenkins, Git &amp; Bitbucket, Intelli, GraphQL etc.Of course you don’t have to be familiar with all of they tech stack. They will support you in your journey with them!Requirements<ul><li>You are a back-end developer with 7+ years of previous working experience, of which 5+ years are on the Java stack</li><li>You have experience with at least one large-scale, high-volume production environment</li><li>You write code which is both readable and performant, and, you feel right at home with OOP, multi-tier architecture</li><li>You are a proponent of commonly used Design Patterns and SOLID Principles, and, deliver code that is well-tested and well-documented</li><li>You have a positive mindset, and you are motivated by challenging projects; new and existing.
