What you’ll do• &nbsp; &nbsp;Devise services solutions &amp; design for IP Backhaul &amp; Access considering network evolution and future-proofness across the European Region • &nbsp; &nbsp;Introduce service performance dimensioning and KPI guidelines for the access and backhauling and track related service performance KPIs • &nbsp; &nbsp;Define QoS objectives and parameterization in IP Access and Backhaul network segment as part of a harmonized &amp; optimized End to End QoS concept • &nbsp; &nbsp;Optimize Service performance through E2E alignment of Transmission and Transport design &amp; use of best practices • &nbsp; &nbsp;Assess security compliance of IP Access &amp; Backhaul NW acroos the European Region and provide recommendations/support plan definition to fill the gaps • &nbsp; &nbsp;Drive the introduction of SDN in relevant network segments• &nbsp; &nbsp;Alignment with network technology strategy and architecture, as well as efficient adaptation to local needs and requirements of local markets. Liaise with vendors and with other functions of Vodafone, to drive the evolution and design of Services in the markets in scope • &nbsp; &nbsp;QoS objectives and parameterization in Transmission (Microwave) and Transport network as part of a harmonized &amp; optimized End to End QoS concept • &nbsp; &nbsp;Service optimization through E2E alignment of Transmission (Microwave) &amp; transport design &amp; use of best practices • &nbsp; &nbsp;Performance KPIs for Access and Backhaul Network Segment • &nbsp; &nbsp;Assess compliancy of the networks with Security GuidelinesWho you are• &nbsp; &nbsp;University degree in Computer Science or Electrical engineering. MSc Telecommunications – preferred. • &nbsp; &nbsp;5 years of professional experience in the telecom industry • &nbsp; &nbsp;Professional certificated (e.g. CCNP, CCIE) will be an advantage Deep knowledge of IP Access &amp; Backhaul technologies &amp; architectures (routers/mw) • &nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge of techniques to secure services and Infrastructure • &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience in deploy and optimize SDN solutions • &nbsp; &nbsp;Able to challenge given solutions and identify innovation opportunities • &nbsp; &nbsp;Able to understand &amp; interact in both business &amp; technical domains, capturing customer requests and adopting design accordingly • &nbsp; &nbsp;Able to engage markets in collaboration on technical topicsNot a perfect fit?Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
