ELVALHALCOR - Copper &amp; Alloys Extrusion Division&nbsp;is searching for&nbsp;detail-oriented&nbsp;TECHNICAL BUYER&nbsp;responsible for processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers and&nbsp;evaluating proposals, to join our Supply Chain team in our plant in Oinofyta, Voiotia, GreeceRole DescriptionKey Responsibilities:•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Follow company’s purchasing procedures, guidelines and policy •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure the timely and correct ordering of all materials and services •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Establish good communication &amp; close cooperation with all interfacing departments&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Prepare and issues purchase orders and contracts to the awarded suppliers •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Handle logistics of the ordered materials, aiming at their timely and cost-effective delivery •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Negotiate with suppliers, evaluates their performance, and continuously seeks for alternative procurement sources for cost reduction&nbsp;Requirements:•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;University Degree in the field of Engineering&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Educational background in Supply Chain or Finance (accepted) •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Master’s degree will be considered an asset •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Previous experience of 2-3 years within Procurement is preferred •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Full professional proficiency in English •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Strong computer proficiency, and advanced use of analytical software programs, e.g. Excel, Minitab •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;SAP MM module knowledge will be considered an asset •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Team player&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Strong organizational and time management skills •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;High sense of responsibility with special emphasis on compliance with company’s procedures and code of conduct&nbsp;The Company offers:• &nbsp; &nbsp;Dynamic work environment • &nbsp; &nbsp;Career and Development Plan • &nbsp; &nbsp;Continuous Training • &nbsp; &nbsp;Competitive remuneration package • &nbsp; &nbsp;Additional insurance coverage

TECHNICAL BUYER (2529)

To support the execution of the procurement process for departmental materials, spare parts, and services, ensuring the optimal combination of cost, delivery timelines, and alignment with Senior Buyers’ directives, while maintaining material and service quality standards in compliance with Company regulations and prevailing market conditions.&nbsp;Responsibilities<ul><li>Manages relationships with suppliers and consults senior buyers when necessary to make optimal decisions.</li><li>Informs suppliers about the technical and financial specifications of materials/services (payment terms, warranty, delivery time and method) to ensure high quality of purchased goods and services.</li><li>Handles purchase requests, reviews existing contracts and supplier purchase history, creates and sends Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers.</li><li>Receives and evaluate supplier quotations in order to select the most cost-effective and technically compliant offers</li><li>Manages the full purchase order cycle in SAP</li><li>Manages complaints and issues arising from collaborations with suppliers.</li><li>Coordinates loading schedules by entering requests into the Group’s logistics system and manages communication with suppliers to confirm and streamline loading procedures.</li></ul>&nbsp;QualificationsMandatory<ul><li>BSc preferably in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting &amp; Finance, Business Administration or Engineering</li><li>Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing department</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP MM)</li><li>Excellent command of the English language (both spoken and written)</li></ul>&nbsp;Skills<ul><li>Strong negotiation skills and contract management capabilities</li><li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability</li><li>Understanding of basic principles of risk management and compliance</li><li>Results-oriented mindset and project management skills</li></ul>&nbsp;Benefits•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Competitive compensation and benefits package•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ongoing professional training and development opportunities
