We are currently seeking professionals&nbsp;to strengthen&nbsp;our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. Our FAAS team consists of a group of experts who’s day-to-day activities exist in supporting fast growing companies to take the next step. In this dynamic environment, we help companies prepare their financial statements (standalone and consolidated) as well as any other financial reports for Management or Group Reporting purposes. Next to this, our team offers technical accounting advice to different entities. Large, multinational companies as well as financial institutions, e.g. Banks, count on our teams to analyze how major transactions would influence their financial statements. Sounds interesting?&nbsp;Your key responsibilitiesThe nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. You will provide accounting advisory services encompassing support in the implementation of new accounting standards,&nbsp;advice to clients -including financial institutions- or teams on complex accounting matters; improvement of reporting processes such as fast close and business intelligence projects; GAAP conversion and implementation; on call financial reporting advice; accounting/reporting processes and controls support assistance. That means you need to think outside the box, be creative and solutions oriented, challenge existing practices and be adaptable to change. As you build your knowledge and experience, you will become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Skills and attributes for success<ul><li>Collaborating effectively with Seniors and/or Managers at the planning, execution and wrap-up stages of FAAS engagements&nbsp;</li><li>Working in multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring deliverables are of a high quality according to EY standards</li><li>Fostering an efficient, innovative and team-oriented working environment by maintaining cooperative relationships that lead to open communications and sharing of information</li><li>Demonstrating positive attitude, professionalism, teamwork competences, and high level of self-motivation and desire to exceed expectations</li><li>Illustrating critical thinking and ability to work in a multi-tasking and results-oriented working environment with keen attention to high quality and details</li><li>Identifying and communicating relevant trends, developments and key performance drivers relevant to the client&nbsp;</li><li>Creating presentations and using technology to continually enhance service delivery</li></ul>&nbsp;To qualify for the role, you must have<ul><li>Working experience in consulting / audit services in relevant positions or a financial accounting/reporting role will be considered as an asset.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any quantitative degree.</li><li>Good understanding of accounting logic and&nbsp;ability to research IFRS technical issues</li><li>Results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality and accuracy and&nbsp;distinct willingness to learn</li><li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) &nbsp;</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English</li></ul>Ideally you will also have<ul><li>Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any quantitative degree.</li><li>Professional accountancy qualification or working towards gaining one (ACCA, ACA, CFA, SOEL)&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;What we offer you &nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to Shape your Future with Confidence by:<ul><li>Developing your professional growth:<ul><li>You'll have unlimited access to educational platforms, EY Badges and EY Degrees, alongside support for certifications.
