The role ensures that procurement activities align with company objectives, deliver cost savings, and maintain high-quality standards while fostering strong supplier relationships. Additionally, the role involves optimizing fleet operations and ensuring the availability of critical MRO supplies to support business continuity.What you’ll be doing:<ol><li>Strategic Sourcing:</li></ol><ul><li>Identify and evaluate suppliers for indirect procurement categories.</li><li>Conduct market research to benchmark costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.</li></ul><ol><li>Supplier Management:</li></ol><ul><li>Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure service quality and reliability.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or non-compliance.</li></ul><ol><li>Procurement Operations:</li></ol><ul><li>Manage purchase requisitions and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement support.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.</li></ul><ol><li>Cost Management:</li></ol><ul><li>Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost reduction.</li><li>Track and report on savings achieved through procurement initiatives.</li><li>Support budgeting and forecasting activities for indirect procurement categories.</li></ul><ol><li>Process Improvement:</li></ol><ul><li>Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li>Implement best practices and innovative solutions in procurement activities.</li><li>Leverage digital tools and systems to streamline procurement workflows.</li></ul><ol><li>Risk Management:</li></ol><ul><li>Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships and contracts.</li><li>Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.</li></ul>What we’d love for you to have:We are interested in you as a person: your attitude, behaviors and values.
