Responsibilities:<ul><li>Selects qualified crew according to all standard operating procedures and guidelines of STCW &amp; flag state- vessel requirements and plans their assignment on specific vessels.</li><li>Maintains personal medical and training records as well as certification data for all vessels’ personnel.</li><li>Arranges all visa / immigration formalities needed in order to ensure their safe embarkation or disembarkation via communication with agents and/or manning agencies.</li><li>Administers all necessary traveling (i.e., ticketing, visa, immigration etc.) of crew and/or superintendents.</li><li>Plans crew changes at convenient ports.</li><li>Enters all crew-related information into company’s database.</li><li>Arranges Skype interviews and briefings.</li><li>Deals with accounting crew matters concerning monthly home allotments / SOA / FWA / cash advances / MPOs.</li><li>Checks invoices / DA / SOA regarding crew expenses.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor degree in any discipline, preferably in shipping.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience as a Crew Operator at a shipping company, preferably with bulkers.&nbsp;</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li></ul>

Crew Operator

Responsibilities:Performs shipyard cost analysis by comparing various recent or extra DD quotations.Creates and maintains a database with offers in order to be used for shipyard negotiations.Assists the Senior D/D Coordinator in maintaining and monitoring the status of each N/B project through daily communication with site offices and the yards.Contributes in the preparation of ship specifications taking into account all available information from ship and attendance reports.Supports the Senior D/D Coordinator in coordinating the D/D scheduling in conjunction with the Operations and Technical Departments.Compares various costs of supplies and services that appear during DD and keeps a record of the quotes received.Assists in the plan approval process for new vessels and reviews ship’s plans as offered by consultants. Qualifications / Experience:A University degree in Engineering and/or Naval ArchitectureA Master’s degree in Engineering, Shipping, Maritime Economics or Naval Architecture will be considered an asset.Minimum 2 years of experience in the technical department and/or technical projects of a shipping company.Excellent organization and communication skills.Fluency in English.Computer literate.

Dry-Dock Coordinator

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervises all technical aspects of the Fleet’s assigned vessels, including maintenance, repairs, safety and&nbsp;environmental protection, ensuring they are carried out in an efficient way according to the international&nbsp;legislation.</li><li>Controls and manages fleet’s technical annual budget.</li><li>Monitors the superintendent engineers’ vessel visits in order to check and evaluate their condition and&nbsp;maintenance progress; to issue further instructions on maintenance and repair activities and; to file, record and&nbsp;report findings to the Technical Manager and Director.</li><li>Reviews quotations and evaluates the purchase orders for all technical spares, supplies, repairs, lubricants and&nbsp;engine stores to assure the vessels’ needs are covered within the budget and the expected quality and quantity.</li><li>Cooperates closely with the claims department for the process of damage claims and supports the Claims&nbsp;department providing all the relevant technical information.</li><li>Participates in the Emergency Response Team and informs immediately the Technical Manager and Director in&nbsp;case of emergency.</li><li>Coordinates and liaises with other departments to collectively provide an efficient ship management service.</li><li>Visits the managed vessels, if required, to assess their condition during PSC and/or attends dry-dock and repairs&nbsp;in order to monitor their progress and ensure their effective completion.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Naval Architecture with minimum 8 years of experience as&nbsp;Superintendent Engineer in a shipping company with bulk carriers or minimum 2 years of sea-going experience&nbsp;on bulk carriers as chief engineer and 4 years of experience as Superintendent Engineer.</li><li>Previous office experience as technical fleet manager will be an asset.</li><li>Ability to direct, motivate, and lead superintendent engineers, officers and coordinators.</li><li>Ability to monitor changing legislation and international requirements and/or developments in the Marine industry.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Excellent communication &amp; negotiation skills.</li></ul>

Fleet Manager

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Communicates to Masters Voyage instructions, port requirements, local regulations, cargo requirements and precautions, ship’s charter party description and applicable clauses.</li><li>Checks&nbsp;cargo docs, LOIs, bunker requirements and authorizes bunker invoices.</li><li>Issues voyage instructions, ship’s cargo holds preparation instructions and Monitors ship’s cargo holds condition and preparation.</li><li>Communicates with charterers via broking channels.</li><li>Monitors the actual day-to-day performance and financial expenditure of the vessels.</li><li>Coordinates with Chartering department in describing vessel’s particular characteristics and reviews Charter Party clauses.</li><li>Appoints cargo and bunker surveyors and port agents and arranges various services that the ship requires. Updates position list and position books, checks with agent the ship’s prospects and approves D/As.</li><li>Liaises with the Insurance and Claims Departments in handling of claims, hazardous situations, accidents and P &amp; I involvement.</li><li>Monitors the performance of the vessels based on charter party and Company’s requirements and guidelines. Also monitors the daily performance at Sea with regards to speed, consumption and weather conditions.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>5&nbsp;years of office experience as Operator&nbsp;in a shipping company with bulk carriers.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Communication &amp; negotiation skills.</li></ul>

Fleet Operator

Responsibilities:Communicates with Masters regarding any reports concerning PSC items, deck maintenance (PMS) and cargo hold preparedness.Visits the vessels for marine / safety internal audits, evaluates their condition, assesses potential risks and prepares them for third party inspections as per the Company’s standards, SMS requirements and all international and flag state legislation.Approves deck stores and maintenance tools as well as the activation/supply of charts and publications.Analyzes, investigates and assess the risks of hazardous occurrences on the vessel or any deficiencies, issued by PSC and third party inspections, and provides vessels with necessary feedback and instructions to avoid reoccurrence.Pursues the developments related to international rules and regulations that are associated with the SMS and evaluates their potential impact.Coordinates and liaises with other departments within the company to collectively provide an efficient ship management service.Handles pre-port state control inspections, standard deck and safety items checks, master and officers’ evaluation and random bunker checks.&nbsp;Provides specific training to the crew during the sea passage attendances.&nbsp; Qualifications / Experience:Captain Class A diploma and minimum 2 years of sea-going experience as a Master.Experience as a Marine Superintendent in a shipping company with bulkers will be an asset.Experience in handling dry vetting and third party inspections (PSC, USCG, P&amp;I, Charterers etc.).Ability to learn and monitor changes in legislation and international requirements.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Fluency in English.Computer literate.

Marine Project Superintendent

Responsibilities:Supports all quality, health, safety, security and environmental matters.Assists his/her supervisor to follow up on the implementation of the emergency response plans, the ISM / ISPS / MLC codes, as well as of any other international or local regulations.Provides vessels with class and flag certificates necessary for trading, as instructed by his/her supervisor.Implements the Environmental Management System (EMS) and promotes the environmental awareness of the vessels and the office personnel.Monitors that the Company’s Safety and Environmental protection systems, policies and working instructions are properly and effectively implemented.Monitors and supplies the service of alcohol meters.Arranges and follows up on fresh water and crew drug and alcohol tests.Keeps record of vessels’ logbooks and endorsements.Enters all MSQ data in the Company’s electronic system.Inserts department’s invoices in the system and follows up on DAs. Qualifications / Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field.Postgraduate degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field will be considered an asset.Minimum 4 year of experience at the Safety &amp; Quality department of a shipping company.Knowledge of ISM / ISPS / MLC.Computer literate.Fluency in English.Excellent communication skills.

MSQ Coordinator

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Checks overdue works for all vessels so as to avoid system failures due to the lack of maintenance. Also, creates vessels structure in the ERP (i.e., workflow tree, corresponding manufacturers, models, serial number, works &amp; forms) in order to apply Company’s official PMS.</li><li>Prepares Vessels’ PMS for external or internal audits by checking the reported works and the respective forms in order to avoid any deficiencies and maintain vessels’ high performance.</li><li>Creates and maintains various reports on a regular or ad hoc basis regarding critical components for statistical and reporting purposes such as OPEX, budget analysis etc. and for the monitoring of PMS performance and the archiving of technical information.</li><li>Provides training and technical advice to the shipboard personnel.</li><li>Supports the technical department by utilizing data collection services, gathering data for all fleet and assisting in the decision making and budget control processes.</li><li>Provides guidance in terms of precise spare parts implementation in Navision (PMS Tool) and contributes to the smooth operation of the supply cycle.</li><li>Enters data in Navision to allow better maintenance &amp; budget control.</li><li>Provides any other related assistance to the Technical Director if/when requested.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Degree in Engineering and/or Naval Architecture.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in the Technical department of a shipping company.</li><li>Master’s degree in Engineering, Shipping, Maritime Economics or Naval Architecture will be considered an asset;</li><li>Capability of data management and database maintenance.</li><li>Experience on Navision system desirable.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Excellent Communication skills.</li><li>Team player.</li></ul>

PMS Engineer

<ul><li>Supports the Post Fixtures Officers with the assigned fleet’s C/P claims (off-hire / demurrage / other disputes) presented by / or to Charterers, as required.</li><li>Assists the Post Fixtures team to handles / follow up on undisputed balances and invoices against charterers’ hire statements.</li><li>Follows up on vessels’ voyage and daily operations to assist in the handling of fixtures and potential claims.</li><li>Supports the Post Fixtures Officers with the preparation of weekly and other relevant reports, as requested by the Post Fixtures Manager.</li><li>Provides assistance, as required, in order to submit for approval the brokerage commission invoices and forwards them to the Accounting department for settlement.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor degree in Shipping, Economics or Law.</li><li>Previous relevant experience will be considered an asset.</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>MS Office Literacy.</li><li>Team spirit.</li></ul>

Post Fixture Assistant

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Handles the assigned fleet’s C/P claims (off-hire / demurrage / other disputes) presented by / or to Charterers, collaborating with the Post Fixtures Officers team, as required.</li><li>Controls hire and freight collection.</li><li>Handles / follows up on undisputed balances, invoices against charterers’ hire statements and funds received from charterers and their balances.</li><li>Monitors vessels’ voyage and daily operations to follow up on fixtures and potential claims.</li><li>Prepares weekly and other relevant reports, as requested by the Post Fixtures Manager or the top management team.</li><li>Checks and submits for approval the brokerage commission invoices and forwards same to the Accounting department for settlement.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor degree in shipping, law, chartering or any relevant field.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in post-fixing and claims handling at a ship-owning company, preferably with bulkers.</li><li>Excellent knowledge and understanding of Charter Party clauses and claims handling.</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>MS Office Literacy.</li></ul>

Post Fixtures Officer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Regularly visits company’s vessels to report on their condition and/or supervise repairs.</li><li>Performs riding attendance as defined by the Maintenance Manager, including preparation for third-party inspections (e.g., terminals, port state, class, flag, P&amp;I), always ensuring compliance with the company's safety, quality, and environmental standards.</li><li>Monitors the repair and maintenance of vessels, offering similar support to the rest of the fleet vessels.&nbsp;</li><li>Attends dry dockings to ensure all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager and/or Technical SupEng are carried out to specification, ensuring the vessel is delivered in seaworthy condition and ready in all respects.</li><li>Assists in preparing dry dock and repair specifications.</li><li>Provides technical support to the personnel onboard.</li><li>Attends new acquisitions and vessel sales to new buyers.</li><li>Travels abroad to ports frequented by the company's vessels to conduct inspections, assist onboard personnel, and monitor the preparation of third-party inspections.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Chief Engineer’s or 2nd&nbsp;Engineer’s license and minimum 3 years of sea service at these positions.</li><li>Office experience as Superintendent Engineer will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Travel mobility.</li></ul>
