Currently, we are searching to hire an Accountant on a 18&nbsp;-&nbsp;month contract to join our Accounting Department!<h2>During your day you will:</h2><ul><li>Record accounting transactions (revenue, expenses, fixed assets, payroll, receivables) in line with statutory regulations and internal policies</li><li>Monitor and perform&nbsp;daily accounting operations (accounts payable/receivable), including:<ul><li>Processing and verifying invoices (AP &amp; AR)</li><li>Reconciling accounts by verifying entries and comparing reports with balances (e.g., balance sheet, P&amp;L, bank reconciliations)</li><li>Performing accounting entries and updating cost centers</li></ul></li><li>Prepare year-end journal entries, provisions, and accruals</li><li>Execute month-end closing tasks, including monthly VAT returns and VIES</li><li>Prepare monthly/quarterly tax obligations (withholding tax returns, stamp duty, list of agreements, etc.)</li><li>Prepare&nbsp;accounting reports as required</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>BSc in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics</li><li>Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounting or similar roles</li><li>Knowledge of Accounting/IFRS and relevant standards</li><li>Excellent command of Greek and English (written and verbal)</li><li>Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel</li><li>Experience working in a SAP environment</li><li>Good understanding of the tax regulatory framework</li><li>Key competencies: analytical mindset and accuracy, effective communication, organizational and time-management skills, problem-solving ability, proactivity, and strong teamwork</li></ul>&nbsp;

Accountant (Fixed Term)

As an Assistant Accountant (Inventory Associate), you will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels, maintaining inventory integrity, and delivering clear, actionable reports.
