Conduct performance, operational, financial and compliance audit identifying risks and proposing recommendations.Audit assignment objectives: review and provide advices on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment over MSC Agencies business process in accordance with the requirements of Group Business owners and objectives. Based in Attiki, Greece and reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate shall play a critical role in leading the financial and commercial strategy of our Marine and Ship Management Division.Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Lead all financial planning and analysis (FP&amp;A), budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the Marine &amp; Ship Management Division</li><li>Develop capital strategies for vessel acquisition, conversion, and long-term asset deployment</li><li>Build and execute financing models for large marine asset investments, including lease/buy analysis and joint venture structures</li><li>Manage relationships with financial institutions, shipyards, legal, and regulatory bodies</li><li>Collaborate closely with technical and operations teams to optimize cost-efficiency across vessel operations, maintenance, and crewing</li><li>Drive financial readiness and due diligence processes for potential IPO or capital raising events, ensuring alignment with regulatory and investor expectations</li><li>Implement and maintain robust financial controls, compliance frameworks, and risk management systems</li><li>Lead financial negotiations for contracts with charterers, suppliers, insurers, and other commercial partners</li><li>Provide strategic insight and support for M&amp;A or restructuring initiatives</li><li>Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and Board on maritime financial matters and long-term strategy</li><li>Lead a team of Accounting &amp; Finance executives, with in-house and outsourced members</li><li>Any other task that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or related field; MSc degree and/or professional qualifications such as CPA, ACA, CFA, or MBA preferred</li><li>Minimum&nbsp;12 years&nbsp;of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, including as CFO, Finance Director, or VP Finance</li><li>Strong background in the&nbsp;maritime, offshore construction, shipping, or energy infrastructure sectors&nbsp;is essential</li><li>Demonstrated experience in&nbsp;vessel project finance, capital markets, and IPO readiness</li><li>Deep knowledge of&nbsp;marine asset management, regulatory compliance, and international shipping finance practices</li><li>Proven experience working with&nbsp;banks, private equity, and institutional investors&nbsp;in the maritime or offshore sector</li><li>Familiarity with&nbsp;maritime operational economics&nbsp;including OPEX, CAPEX planning, crewing, and chartering dynamics</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken</li></ul>Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Strategic thinker with strong commercial and operational acumen</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>High integrity and a&nbsp;hands-on leadership&nbsp;style</li><li>Able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment</li></ul>
