This role focuses on the operational interface with local and EU tax authority systems (e.g., my DATA, IAPR, VIES, EMCS), supporting real-time tax reporting, e-invoicing compliance, and regulatory technology integration. The position also supports statutory tax filings, reconciliations, and reporting processes, ensuring tax compliance in a rapidly digitizing regulatory environment.<h2>During your day you will:</h2><ul><li>Monitor, manage, and maintain data submissions to tax authority platforms (e.g., my DATA, IAPR eBooks, VAT returns, VIES, Intrastat, EMCS)</li><li>Ensure seamless integration and alignment between ERP/tax systems and government portals</li><li>Perform reconciliations between accounting books and tax filings, ensuring completeness and accuracy</li><li>Collaborate with IT and accounting teams to resolve interface or reporting issues related to tax systems</li><li>Stay up to date on legal requirements for electronic tax submissions, invoicing, and real-time reporting</li><li>Support VAT, CIT, and withholding tax compliance through data preparation and filing</li><li>Serve as a point of contact with Greek and EU tax authorities for electronic compliance topics</li><li>Support audit requests related to digital reporting and ensure traceability of electronic records</li><li>Assist in testing and implementing system updates in response to regulatory changes (e.g., BEPS, DAC7, e-invoicing mandates)</li><li>Contribute to internal training and documentation of tax reporting workflows and system use</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline</li><li>MBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization would be considered a plus.</li><li>2-3 years of experience in tax operations</li><li>Knowledge of tax accounting and tax legislation (income, VAT, property tax etc)</li><li>Working knowledge of SAP functionalities and processes.</li><li>Excellent communications skills both verbal and written, in Greek and English languages.</li><li>Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).</li><li>Analytical thinking.</li><li>Team player.</li><li>Organizational &amp; time management skills&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Our Compass is the #ACTION#A_uthenticity#C_ompassion#T_eamwork#I_ntegrity#O_wnership#N_ever giving up&nbsp;&nbsp;What gives us energy:<ul><li>Friendly and fast paced environment, being always at the heart of the #action</li><li>Continuous learning to empower our teams</li><li>Career Development opportunities across the Motor Oil Group</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;*We @Motor Oil Group are an equal opportunity employer.Our hiring decisions are based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
