The&nbsp;Alpha Talent Acceleration Program |&nbsp;Market Risk Control&nbsp;is designed for ambitious early-career professionals eager to fast-track their careers and make a lasting impact in the area of Market Risk within a large financial institution.&nbsp;During this 12-month program you will be working in Alpha Bank’s Market Risk Control Business Area. With on-the-job training and guidance, you will be able to participate in activities to identify risks related to market fluctuations.&nbsp;What you will be doing&nbsp;<ul><li>Contribute to the daily production and validation of market risk reports, such as VaR and FRTB sensitivities.</li><li>Support the calculation of the capital requirements for the Bank’s trading portfolio.</li><li>Monitor risk exposures against approved limits and escalate any breaches accordingly.</li><li>Support the review and analysis of counterparty credit exposures for derivative transactions.</li><li>Contribute to the calculation and reporting of Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA) and related metrics.</li><li>Validate and reconcile market data, trade information, and risk metrics to ensure accuracy and consistency.</li><li>Prepare presentation material, briefing packs, and provide general support for internal or regulatory meetings.</li></ul>&nbsp;What you need to have&nbsp;<ul><li>A&nbsp;Bachelor’s and/or a postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Finance, Risk, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or in any other related field.</li><li>Some previous work experience in market risk and/or in the banking or in the financial industry will be considered an asset.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills both in Greek and in English.</li><li>Attention to detail, methodical approach, and analytical thinking.</li><li>Proficient use of the MS Office applications.</li><li>Familiarity with a programming language is considered an asset.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;What we offer&nbsp;It’s all about our people.
