Research Economist

What you will be doing&nbsp;<ul><li>Develop new products and services or updates existing line in the areas of Transaction Banking.</li><li>Follow market trends, conduct market surveys to update the Bank’s portfolio of products and services.</li><li>Participate in relevant interbank Bodies (e.g. HBA, SWIFT, DIAS) to follow updates in products and participate in industry wide product development initiatives.</li><li>Monitor the performance of the Bank’s market position versus market trends and the competition, aiming to improve the Bank’s penetration.</li><li>Monitor the products’ official price list through the Bank’s approval process.</li><li>Define, monitor, and evaluate the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of transaction products and services in collaboration with the internal stakeholders.</li></ul>&nbsp;What you need to have&nbsp;<ul><li>A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).or</li><li>A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, or Finance.</li><li>A minimum of seven (7) years of previous working experience in client-facing role, in the Financial Services industry, preferably in the Wholesale Banking.</li><li>Familiarity with Product Design and Development and with Trade and Treasury Transactions.</li><li>Project Management Skills.</li><li>Complex Problem Solving.</li><li>Customer Relationship Management.</li><li>Team Spirit &amp; Collaboration.</li></ul>What we offer&nbsp;It’s all about our people.
