Currently, we have opportunities for talented professionals with general actuarial &amp; insurance expertise at the level of Experienced Consultant.&nbsp;The opportunity&nbsp;This is an opportunity to become part of the EY insurance business consulting success story in Greece and across Europe.We offer a wide range of services, providing a mix of advisory and assurance assistance to clients, including but not limited to:<ul><li>Consumer Protection</li><li>Regulatory reporting</li><li>Risk Management</li><li>Solvency II</li><li>Capital management</li><li>Internal model approval support</li><li>Internal model validation</li><li>Pricing &amp; product development</li><li>Financial reporting</li><li>Technology change including analytics and automation</li></ul>&nbsp;Our business model ensures that:<ul><li>our competencies extend beyond other insurance and actuarial consultancies;</li><li>we leverage the synergies of being part of broader European and global insurance and actuarial teams and collaborating in numerous international engagements;</li><li>we enjoy the advantages of being part of "Big 4 firm" multi-service-line offerings; and</li><li>we combine consulting, audit and audit-related projects with a global client reach.</li></ul> Your key responsibilities In your role as an Experienced Consultant, you will join a team dedicated to assisting clients across various sectors with their mandatory reporting obligations under different regulations.&nbsp;<ul><li>Work on client assignments in Insurance and Financial sector industry, primarily in the areas of consumer protection, risk management and regulatory compliance.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare regulatory documentation required under different regulations (e.g., KIDs/SIDs, SFCR &amp; ORSA preparation, CSRD reporting, etc.).</li><li>Design, document, enhance and implement risk management strategies, frameworks, policies, processes and procedures in the insurance sector.</li><li>Demonstrate core consulting skills and insurance knowledge to support delivery to clients.</li><li>Be a point of contact with our clients and their personnel.</li><li>Provide timely, efficient and professional delivery of service to our clients.</li><li>Stay up to date with European and local regulatory updates.</li><li>Develop people through effectively coaching and mentoring more junior staff.</li><li>Participate in the preparation of presentation to clients.</li></ul>&nbsp;To qualify for the role you must have&nbsp;<ul><li>At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position in a consulting firm or in a comparable role in a financial services organization, with exposure to Unit-Linked products, Asset Management and Investments;&nbsp;</li><li>Proven math and analytical skills, as acquired through a Bachelor's and/or a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering or other quantitative degree;&nbsp;</li><li>You have basic knowledge of the insurance and/ or asset management industry, the PRIIPs regulation, Solvency II directive, UCITS directive, ESG regulations and other related regulatory technical standards, Q&amp;As, etc.;</li><li>Strong communication, presentation and writing skills in English, any other European language is a plus;&nbsp;</li><li>You have an excellent command of Microsoft Office applications i.e. PowerPoint and Excel;&nbsp;</li><li>A committed approach to continuous professional development is required&nbsp;</li><li>Strong team player with a passion for excellence and commitment to delivering work on time and with a flexible working style enjoying working with multi-national teams.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Ideally, you’ll also have&nbsp;<ul><li>The ability to deal with outward-facing client management on projects and on-selling;&nbsp;</li><li>The ability to work with a variety of stakeholders at all levels;&nbsp;</li><li>Strong skills in large database, statistical packages for data manipulation and in development of predictive and prescriptive models (i.e. R, Python, SAS, SQL etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>Any relevant professional qualification is considered a plus (i.e. FIA,CFA, etc.).&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in Data Visualization tools (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau) for integration between different data sources, design and implementation of KPIs and generation of visualizations that will facilitate extraction of business insights;&nbsp;</li></ul> What we look for&nbsp;What’s most important is that you’re dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team.
