Collections & Credit Control Officer

The holder of the position will be contributing to duties of the accounting department and report to the Chief Accountant of the subsidiary Aktor Facility Participation. We are looking for a&nbsp;Life&nbsp;Insurance Claims Handler&nbsp;to handle effectively and timely the full cycle of life insurance claims and provide a high standard of customer service.If this description suits you and you are interested in working for one of the best insurance players in the Greek market, do not hesitate to apply for this position.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a&nbsp;Life Insurance Claims Handler,&nbsp;you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Handle and ensure timely processing of all life insurance claims documents</li><li>Gather, check and maintain records of all data and documentation so as to ensure the settlement of claims</li><li>Determine the validity of life insurance claims, carry out the assessment and settlement of insurance claims arising from policies in force</li><li>Identify fraud potential and make appropriate referrals</li><li>Estimate the final amount of claims and ensure the payment procedure according to contract terms and company policies</li><li>Consult with other third parties to seek guidance and expert evaluation on issues regarding the investigation, assessment and negotiation of the insurance claims</li><li>Answer inquires, deal with complaints and provide customers and external partners with further information / clarifications and/or support relating to claims processing</li><li>Maintain all records and ensure their updating process</li><li>Prepare reports including statistics and data about the frequency and severity of claims</li><li>Suggest process improvements in order to support business in a more customer oriented way</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Degree in Insurance, Finance or similar field</li><li>Previous experience as a claims adjuster or similar role</li><li>Legal Knowledge on claims policies</li><li>Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)</li><li>Fluency in English language</li><li>Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills</li><li>Attention to detail&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>What we offerOur goal is to attract the best of the best and to ensure that our people enjoy their work environment.
