As a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer&nbsp;you will play a crucial role in bridging technical expertise with business development strategies. This role involves supporting technical replies of international tenders, driving business growth through strategic initiatives and concrete knowledge of the competition, as well as participation in international tender and contract trials. The ideal candidate will leverage their engineering background, understanding and addressing of critical customer supportability requirements and develop further their business acumen to enhance operational efficiency and secure new business opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Head of Technical Business Development, we are searching for a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer, that will:<ul><li>Prepare Technical Proposals for international tenders</li><li>Provide technical support to BD Team and liaise with the R&amp;D Team</li><li>Review technical information for marketing material</li><li>Participate in product trials and training sessions (for colleagues and end-users)</li><li>Prepare competitor mapping per product</li><li>Perform Spares Parts Provisioning and Maintenance Level Analyses for international tenders</li><li>Analyze customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>University degree of Engineering or Physics or Applied Physics</li><li>Excellent command of the English Language</li><li>Excellent command of the MS Office suite</li><li>Good interpersonal skills</li><li>Specialization in Optics/Photonics and/or Optoelectronic Devices or any relevant to the above tasks field will be considered as a plus</li><li>Strong presentation skills: Ability to deliver technical presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Excellent written communication skills for writing proposals, documentation, and emails</li><li>Interpersonal skills: Ability to engage with clients, understand their needs, and translate that into a technical solution with particular emphasis on two-way communication and team working</li><li>Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new products and technologies and apply them to diverse customer environments</li><li>Time management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities and projects at once.</li></ul>
