The Department of Natural Sciences, School of Science and Technology invites applications for two (2) Part-Time Instructor positions in the field of Chemistry with expertise in<ul><li>Organic Chemistry or</li><li>Biological Chemistry or</li><li>Food Chemistry.</li></ul>The appointments will be made in accordance with the applicable institutional regulations governing part-time academic staff.Required Qualifications:<ul><li>A Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.</li><li>Documented teaching experience.</li><li>Evidence of research activity and publication record relevant to the field of expertise.</li><li>Excellent command of the English language.</li></ul>Job Responsibilites:The successful candidates will be required to:<ul><li>Teach undergraduate courses in their field of expertise.</li><li>Conduct and supervise laboratory classes, where applicable.</li><li>Contribute to student assessment and advising.</li><li>Participate in curriculum development and other academic activities of the Department, where applicable.</li></ul>The positions are part-time and offered under fixed-term contracts, subject to renewal in accordance with institutional needs and regulations.

Part-Time Instructor in Chemistry (2 positions)

The School of Science and Technology at Deree-The American College of Greece seeks part-time instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Mathematics/Statistics.Required Qualifications:<ul><li>PhD in Mathematics/Statistics, preferably with at least one graduate degree from a US or a UK accredited institution.</li><li>Teaching experience, preferably at a US or a UK higher education institution.</li><li>For Statistics courses,<ul><li>broad practical and theoretical knowledge in Statistics and Data Analytics,</li><li>practical experience in Excel and basic computer programming using Python, R, or others.</li></ul></li><li>For other Mathematics courses,<ul><li>broad practical and theoretical knowledge in Calculus,</li><li>practical experience in basic computer programming using Python, Matlab, or others.</li></ul></li><li>Research record is highly desirable.</li></ul>General Skills:<ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.</li><li>A commitment to student-centered learning.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team on research and teaching programs.</li></ul>

Part-time Instructor in Mathematics/Statistics

Deree – The American College of Greece (ACG) is seeking candidates for the position of Part-Time Instructor in International Law. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in International Law within a multidisciplinary academic environment. We are particularly interested in applicants who combine legal training (law degree and professional practice) with a strong background in International Relations and International Law.Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree in Law (LLB/LLM/JD or equivalent).</li><li>Demonstrated academic background in International Law and International Relations (e.g., coursework, postgraduate study, research, or substantial professional engagement with IR-relevant legal fields).</li><li>Professional experience as a lawyer (bar admission and/or documented legal practice).</li><li>Teaching experience in undergraduate and/or graduate programs, preferably at an English-speaking institution.</li><li>Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>LLM and/or PhD in International Law, International Relations, or a closely related field.</li><li>Teaching and/or practice experience in areas such as Public International Law, International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights Law, International Criminal Law, Law of the Sea, Use of Force, International Organizations, EU External Relations, or related fields.</li><li>Ability to integrate case law, treaties, and contemporary policy debates into student-centered teaching.</li><li>Experience with online or hybrid teaching.</li></ul>General Skills:<ul><li>Strong commitment to student-centered learning and an interactive classroom environment.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative academic team.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and reliability.</li></ul>
