We are currently seeking to hire a:&nbsp;&nbsp;Legal Counsel specializing in Public Procurement&nbsp;#YourRole in more detail<ul><li>Providing legal support throughout the company’s participation in public procurement procedures.</li><li>Reviewing tender documents, including identification of tenders and advice on eligibility and participation criteria.</li><li>Preparing, in collaboration with other departments, the participation files to assist the Public Tender Department in submitting them.</li><li>&nbsp;Drafting and handling pre-contractual appeals as well as any objections or appeals in collaboration with the Legal Department.</li><li>Drafting, reviewing, and monitoring contracts with sector entities.</li><li>Providing legal opinions on issues related to administrative law.</li><li>Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments related to public procurement (Law 4412/2016).</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;What will you bring<ul><li>BSc degree in Law.</li><li>A Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Proven experience of at least five&nbsp;(5) years as a corporate lawyer in the business environment and/or a large law firm. We work together to shape the future of energy and we focus on developing and empowering our people, cultivating their talents that will shape our future journey towards the energy transition.<h2>Starting with the role:</h2>&nbsp;&nbsp;Currently, we are searching to hire a Regulatory Advisor to join our dynamic Legal Department.&nbsp;<h2>During your day you will:</h2>&nbsp;<ul><li>Provide legal advice, guidance and support to MORE’s business units in relation to the legal/ regulatory framework and the relevant legislation (both EU and national), for the licensing, development, operation, participation on the electricity markets and energy management of RES and storage projects</li><li>Monitor the evolution and amendments of such legislation and contribute to the drafting of MORE’s comments and suggestions on proposed new legislation</li><li>Liaise with public regulatory bodies and other competent authorities, such as the Regulatory Authority for Water, Energy and Waste (RAAEY), the IPTO (ADMIE), the DSO (DEDDHE), the Greek Energy Exchange (EnEx), decentralised authorities, municipal and prefectural authorities etc.</li><li>Handle court cases against public and private counterparts and/ or cooperate and monitor external lawyers with respect to assigned regulatory and court cases</li><li>Draft and/or review contracts, agreements, corporate authorities and other legal documents</li><li>Contribute to legal due diligence reviews, in the context of M&amp;A projects</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Law</li><li>A Master’s degree in Law or in Business Administration (MBA) is required. An additional postgraduate qualification, such as an LLM or a Master’s in Energy Policy, Energy Strategy, or Law and Economics of Energy, will be considered a significant asset Attorney appointed in the Supreme Court</li><li>At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience, with substantial exposure to legal and regulatory aspects of the energy sector.
