As a&nbsp;Contracts Manager&nbsp;at&nbsp;Metlen&nbsp;you will be a fundamental part of the project management team for the construction of a CCGT Thermal Power Plant. This position will be based in Paiania, Athens.Your role will encompass:<ul><li>Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of contracts to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and optimize commercial outcomes across the project lifecycle.</li><li>Oversee the preparation and management of contracts related to CCGT projects, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts, PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements), O&amp;M (Operations &amp; Maintenance) agreements, and supplier/vendor contracts.</li><li>Ensure all contracts are aligned with applicable legal and regulatory requirements in close coordination with the legal team.</li><li>Manage contract execution, amendments, and close-out processes, providing direction and guidance to Project Management teams.</li><li>Identify, assess, and proactively manage contractual risks, implementing mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.</li><li>Drive contract performance management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, timelines, and deliverables across all stakeholders.</li><li>Lead the management of claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes, coordinating with Project Management and relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters, providing guidance and strategic input to internal teams.</li><li>Lead negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and clients to secure commercially favourable terms and manage contractual exposure.</li><li>Support and guide commercial and procurement teams in supplier evaluation, tendering, and contract award processes.</li><li>Oversee contract-related financial aspects in collaboration with project managers and finance teams, including budgets, payments, and cost control.</li></ul>What you bring to the role:&nbsp;<ul><li>MSc in Engineering , or a related discipline.</li><li>8+ years of professional experience in the construction and/or energy sector, with strong exposure to EPC or large-scale infrastructure projects.</li><li>Proven experience managing complex contractual frameworks, including FIDIC.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and influence key stakeholders.</li><li>Proven track record in managing contractual risk, claims, and dispute resolution.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent command of English.</li><li>Ability to travel.</li></ul>Share the same Value Based Behaviors:<ul><li>People &amp; Personal growth</li><li>Results orientation &amp; Safety excellence</li><li>Collaboration &amp; Trust</li><li>Empathy &amp; Effective communication</li><li>Flexibility &amp; Adaptability</li></ul>Your Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive remuneration package</li><li>Ticket Restaurant Card</li><li>Group Health Insurance Plan</li><li>Preferential household electricity plan</li><li>Pension Plan</li></ul>

Contracts Manager

As our EPC Project Manager, you will be responsible for the proper execution of utility scale PV and/or Hybrid projects on time, within budget and scope. Project management activities include schedule, budget, scope, quality, risk, contracts, engineering, integration, compliance, stakeholder management throughout the execution of the projects.&nbsp;This role also includes the projects’ preliminary phase, where you will coordinate all preparation activities prior to EPC contract signing and you will support throughout negotiations with clients.&nbsp;You can look forward to the following tasks;<ul><li>Accountable for the successful execution of the EPC projects, from design phase through completion, energisation and handover.</li><li>Ensure that project is delivered on-time. Create detailed project plans. Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.</li><li>Ensure that project is delivered within budget. Keep overview of budgetary objectives, identify discrepancies, and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure that project is delivered within scope. Monitor compliance with specifications and requirements included in project contracts and other related project documents.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs. Perform risk management to minimize/mitigate project risks. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.</li><li>Create and maintain project documentation. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.</li><li>Ensure resource availability/allocation and technical feasibility. Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of the project.&nbsp;</li><li>Liaise with project stakeholders (Project Development and Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Consultants, Clients, and Authorities) on regular basis to ensure compliant project execution.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to the Head of EPC and other company executives and to the clients. &nbsp;</li><li>Implement &amp; comply with JUWI processes and standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure full compliance with the QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes, and requirements applicable to the project.</li></ul>Your energy is requiredYou impress us with these qualifications:<ul><li>University Degree in Engineering.</li><li>2 - 8 years working experience in EPC project management with overall responsibility (project cost, schedule, risk, quality and technical management and control), preferably in utility-scale Solar PV or other renewable energy field. &nbsp;</li><li>Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.</li><li>Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate across levels both internally and externally.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience of contract management and knowledge of standard contract forms (NEC, FIDIC, etc).&nbsp;</li><li>Strong working knowledge of MS Project &amp; MS Office.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability of working autonomously, decision making and problem solving. &nbsp;</li><li>Team player with evident leadership qualities.</li><li>Ability to work in matrix organizations and to operate in a culturally diverse international environment.</li><li>Fluent in Greek and English (verbal &amp; writing).</li><li>Willing to travel frequently, locally, and internationally, according to project’s needs.&nbsp;</li></ul>You have more to offer?
