As a Freight Risk and Market Analyst, based in Athens, you will be part of the Shipping Deals Desk, our middle office team providing market and risk analysis globally on a real time basis. The team’s primary responsibilities revolve around monitoring all elements of risk and exposure related to commercial activity and report it directly to the Management Board daily.Commercially, the team contributes by providing to chartering team with risk assessments and analysis which highlight their exposure, optionality and P&amp;L. Marine Energy Pricing Analyst

As a Time Charter Freight Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the financial and operational management of our global fleet of time chartered and owned vessels. You will be the bridge between commercial operations and finance, ensuring financial integrity, monitoring voyage economics, and directly influencing shipping profitability.In this fast-paced and highly impactful role, you will manage high-value reconciliations, resolve disputes, and provide actionable insights into voyage performance that inform strategic decisions. Time Charter Freight Analyst

Company’s activities extend to shipping and bunkering businesses. The main purpose of the role is to be involved in several accounting and controlling activities mainly related legal entities having the abovementioned business objectives and report into the Regional European Controller. The role shall require interaction with various departments in terms of transactions accounting treatment as per IFRS, revenue recognition, expenses classification, PnL finalization, management accounts preparation as well as explanatory commentary reports. Work closely with the shared service centres of Trafigura, provide necessary information for completion of activities as well as support when required and ensure that the activities are carried out appropriately. The position provides the opportunity to work in close proximity with several departments such as deals desk and operations.
