Financial Advisory Supervisor/Manager

Intellectica is recruiting a highly experienced Valuations Supervisor on behalf of its client, a leading professional services firm recognised for its commitment to quality, inclusion, and integrity. With a strong presence in Greece and part of a global network, the company delivers exceptional advisory services across multiple industries, shaping the future of business through expertise and innovation. Based in Athens, Greece, the Valuations Supervisor will join the dynamic Deals team, collaborating closely with M&amp;A and Due Diligence teams to deliver high-impact valuation projects. Reporting to a Senior Manager, this role offers exposure to complex transactions in a fast-paced environment and clear opportunities for career progression.&nbsp;Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:&nbsp;<ul><li>Lead valuation engagements for M&amp;A transactions, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic advisory purposes across diverse industries</li><li>Develop and review sophisticated financial models, including 3-statement models, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing to support valuation conclusions</li><li>Apply and validate multiple valuation methodologies, such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable Companies’ Multiples, and Comparable Transactions, ensuring methodological accuracy and consistency</li><li>Perform in-depth industry, market, and company research to assess business viability, benchmark performance, and validate key assumptions</li><li>Analyze historical and projected financial statements, identifying trends, risks, and value drivers to support valuation outcomes</li><li>Prepare high-quality valuation reports and client presentations, ensuring clarity, compliance with professional standards, and actionable insights for decision-making</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including M&amp;A and Due Diligence, to provide integrated solutions and support transaction execution</li><li>Participate in client meetings and negotiations, presenting findings and contributing to strategic discussions</li><li>Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining accuracy and reliability in all deliverables</li><li>Utilize advanced tools and databases (e.g., CapitalIQ, Bloomberg) for data gathering, analysis, and benchmarking</li><li>Stay updated on market trends, valuation practices, and regulatory changes, proactively incorporating best practices into engagements</li><li>Mentor and guide junior team members, reviewing their work, providing constructive feedback, and fostering technical development</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Any other task that may be required from time to time</li></ul>&nbsp;Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or CFA qualification will be considered a strong asset</li><li>Proven experience in Valuations projects and active involvement in Deals (M&amp;A, Due Diligence, or related transactions) is essential</li><li>Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in valuations and financial modelling, preferably within an audit or consulting firm</li><li>Strong knowledge of advanced accounting concepts and valuation techniques</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CapitalIQ and Bloomberg is highly regarded</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)</li><li>Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable)</li></ul>&nbsp;Core competencies of a successful candidate:&nbsp;<ul><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills</li><li>Team-oriented with leadership potential</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li></ul>
