The opportunities to make a difference within exciting client initiatives are unlimited in the ever-changing technology landscape.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in the development and optimization of scalable data pipelines and workflows in cloud environments.</li><li>Support senior data engineers and architects by gathering requirements and helping define robust data models and architecture.</li><li>Apply DevOps practices, including basic Git workflows and involvement in CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Contribute to maintaining data quality, security, and governance standards across all data-related activities.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs and quality standards.</li><li>Research, design, build, and implement Machine Learning systems, and maintain, and improve existing ones</li></ul>show lessQualificationsWHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Some experience or internships in data engineering or a related field, demonstrating foundational skills. AI & Data Engineer

As part of Data &amp; AI practice, you will combine AI &amp; ML with data, analytics and automation under a bold strategic vision to transform business in a very pragmatic way, sparking digital metamorphoses. The opportunities to make a difference within exciting client initiatives are unlimited in the ever-changing technology landscape.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate globally with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to define robust data architecture and modeling requirements.</li><li>Develop and optimize ETL processes to integrate data from various sources, ensuring high data quality and reliability.</li><li>Adhere to software engineering best practices for maintainable, scalable, and robust data solutions.</li><li>Mentor junior team members, providing guidelines to ensure high-quality deliverables.</li><li>Communicate complex technical solutions to senior management and diverse stakeholders effectively.</li><li>Contribute to sales activities through data and platform architecture expertise</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to internal initiatives, R&amp;D, and business development projects.</li><li>Research, design, build, and implement Machine Learning systems, and maintain, and improve existing ones</li></ul>show lessQualificationsWHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.</li><li>Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields is strongly recommended.</li><li>Industry vendor certifications are desired (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, CNCF/Kubernetes or Databricks certifications); although not essential if you have demonstrable ability.</li><li>3+ years in data engineering, with a strong emphasis on cloud environments - AWS, GCP, Azure, or Cloud Native platforms.</li><li>Expertise in designing, developing, and managing scalable, end-to-end data pipelines (ADF, Airflow or dbt,).</li><li>Proficient in Big Data Platforms (Hadoop, Databricks, Hive, Kafka, Apache Iceberg or Microsoft Fabric), Data Warehouses (Teradata, Snowflake, BigQuery etc.) and lakehouses (Delta Lake, Apache Hudi)</li><li>Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python and Pyspark with strong skills in writing scalable, readable and maintainable code using object-oriented programming concept.</li><li>Implement DevOps practices, including Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to enhance automation and streamline deployments.</li><li>Experience in project management frameworks such as Waterfall or Agile.</li><li>Knowledge in MLOps practices, utilizing MLflow for experiment tracking, model registry, model evaluation, and model serving.</li><li>Ability to collaborate in multinational environments.</li><li>Willingness to travel and proficiency in Greek and English.</li></ul>Considered a plus:<ul><li>Experience with different data execution paradigms, including low latency/streaming, batch, and micro-batch processing (Apache Kafka, Databricks Streaming processing, Apache StreamSets).</li><li>Knowledge of data management frameworks (data governance, data quality, data security, data dictionary, metadata management) with tools like Databricks Unity Catalog, Apache Atlas, Informatica etc.</li><li>Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.</li><li>Understanding of API gateway and service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio).</li><li>Familiarity working with Linux-based operating systems.</li><li>Familiarity with working with REST APIs.</li></ul>WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?<ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits, including but not limited to: life/health insurance, performance based bonuses, monthly vouchers, company car (depending on management level), flexible work arrangements, employee share purchase plan, TEA Accenture, parental leave, paid overtime (if needed) and various corporate discounts</li><li>Continuous training &amp; development through global platforms &amp; local academy.
