Technical Operations Engineer - Digital & Infrastructure Solutions (Fixed-Term / Subcontractor)

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Finance team in Athens on a fixed-term basis to cover a maternity leave. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a global leader in payment services while gaining valuable experience in international financial operations.&nbsp;Day-to-Day Responsibilities​&nbsp;<ul><li>Ensures compliance with all Worldline group policies, procedures, and requirements</li><li>Completes monthly balance sheet reconciliations accurately and on time</li><li>Enforces internal control policies and procedures across financial operations</li><li>Oversees the timely preparation, review, and approval of monthly bank account and cash reconciliations</li><li>Ensures proper recording and classification of accounting events according to International Financial Reporting Standards and Tax Accounting</li><li>Oversees booking and payment processes</li><li>Prepares tax submissions including VAT, CIT, withholding tax, and other relevant filings</li><li>Collaborates with internal and external auditors during statutory and regulatory audit preparations</li><li>Prepares accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies</li></ul>&nbsp;Who Are We Looking For&nbsp;We look for big thinkers.
