The American College of Greece is seeking a motivated Specialist to join our Undergraduate Enrollment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for international student recruitment, admissions processing, and student support. The role involves significant international travel to represent ACG at fairs and events, as well as the cultivation of relationships with prospective students from initial inquiry to enrollment and relocation to Greece.Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and participate in recruitment initiatives (participation at fairs, visits to high schools, conferences, webinars etc.)</li><li>Foster relationships with external partners (i.e. educational agents, high school counsellors) ensuring that they are up to date with developments and able to recruit desired students</li><li>Propose modifications of future recruitment plans in assigned territory</li><li>Guide candidates through admissions process steps and deciding on the eligibility of their admission</li><li>Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students to promote engagement and retention throughout the admissions cycle.</li><li>Coordinate on-campus visits, information sessions (face to face or online), and residence tours</li><li>Handle CRM admissions system ensuring that all necessary student application information is up to date</li><li>Follow up on new students’ academic and student life, while in their first year of studies</li><li>Organize and participate on campus events related to recruitment or retention of first year students</li><li>Support the refugee scholarship program counselor with the admission of scholars and taking care of the logistic part of the program (books, meals etc.), securing the smooth operation of the program</li><li>Perform any other duty as assigned by the supervisor</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree</li><li>2-3 years of professional experience in counselling/advising, sales or customer care positions</li><li>Familiarity with international secondary and post-secondary education systems will be considered an asset</li><li>Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Greek</li><li>P.C. literate (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Strong customer service orientation</li><li>Effective interpersonal and presentation skills</li><li>High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information</li><li>Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously</li><li>Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively</li><li>Adaptability and ability to work in culturally diverse environments</li></ul>Other requirements:<ul><li>Ability to travel frequently and to work flexible hours (considering potential time zone differences), including evenings and weekends, as required to support departmental needs.</li></ul>

Specialist – International Enrollment (Maternity Cover)

The American College of Greece seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the Study Abroad Office as a Study Abroad Specialist. The successful candidate will support the College’s strategic initiatives to increase outbound study abroad participation by providing advising, managing administrative processes, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth operation of study abroad programs.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide comprehensive information and guidance to students regarding study abroad opportunities, including program options, eligibility requirements, deadlines, and procedures.</li><li>Assist students with applications and required documentation.</li><li>Support pre-departure and re-entry orientations.</li><li>Respond to student inquiries via email, phone, and in-person appointments.</li><li>Maintain accurate records, applications, and databases related to outbound study abroad participation.</li><li>Conduct follow-ups with prospective and participating students.</li><li>Assist in planning and coordinating information sessions and outreach events.</li><li>Promote study abroad opportunities across the campus community.</li><li>Maintain effective communication and collaboration with students and ACG offices.</li><li>Manage and update Study Abroad Office social media accounts.</li><li>Assist with orientation activities, excursions, and program-related events.</li><li>Perform additional duties as needed to support the effective operation of study abroad programs.</li></ul>Required Knowledge:<ul><li>Knowledge of the North American higher education systems, particularly in recruitment cycles and admissions processes for study abroad students.</li><li>Understanding of prospective undergraduate students’ needs.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required (degree in Education or a related field preferred).</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience in higher education, preferably in a study abroad or international education setting.</li><li>Experience as a participant, organizer, or administrator in study abroad programs is preferred.</li><li>Fluency in English and Greek.</li><li>Background in international education or higher education administration is considered an asset.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with student information and outreach systems.</li><li>Excellent time management and prioritization skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented approach.</li><li>Ability to build effective working relationships with diverse populations.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li><li>Cultural sensitivity and strong cross-cultural communication skills.</li></ul>Other Requirements:<ul><li>Flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, when required.</li></ul>
