editorial team leader (operations)

As our Editorial Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the team that creates and maintains vendor catalogues on our platform. You will work closely with other team leads to cultivate a high-quality standard of service for our vendor partners in Greece and Cyprus. This is a key leadership role where you’ll combine strategic thinking, people management, and operational oversight to drive efficiency and quality across the editorial operation.

What you ‘ll do:

• Manage a team of 15+ editorial agents and senior agents, fostering a culture of trust, empowerment, and continuous growth through coaching, feedback, and clear performance expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day editorial operations by setting priorities, defining workflows, and ensuring efficiency and high-quality output across all team activities.
• Ensure team members are well-trained, informed, and empowered to handle tasks and make decisions autonomously.
• Oversee shift scheduling and task assignment, allocate resources effectively, and serve as the go-to person for escalations, complex issues, and vendor-related concerns.
• Monitor key performance metrics, analyze trends, and use insights to inform decisions, improve operations, and support strategic initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Product, Sales, and Marketing to enhance editorial tools, processes, and the overall vendor journey.

What you need to be successful

• 1–2+ years of experience leading an operational team, ideally in content, sales, or customer operations
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and manage high-performing teams to consistently meet goals
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using performance metrics and KPIs to drive decisions
• Excellent problem-solving abilities paired with a sharp eye for detail
• Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills in both Greek and English, with a collaborative, team-first mindset
• Proactive, positive, and results-oriented attitude, with a strong sense of ownership
