The job holder iis responsible for developing and executing the category’s product strategy to drive profitability and performance. The role ensures a competitive assortment aligned with customer needs, leverages data for decision-making, and collaborates with internal teams and vendors to deliver a strong commercial outcome.

Key accountabilities:

• Develop and implement the buying strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer demands.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms, and securing the best product offerings to maximize profitability.

• Curate a balanced assortment that reflects current trends, seasonal demands, and customer preferences while ensuring stock availability.

• Stay updated on global fashion trends, emerging designers, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

• Monitor category performance through sales, margin, and stock reports, and implement corrective actions to achieve budget targets.

• Work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, and E-commerce teams to create cohesive campaigns and in-store presentations for the Women Seasonal & Lingerie category.

• Understand the needs and preferences of target customer segments, using data insights to refine product selection and drive customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.

• At least 4 years of experience in buying within the fashion retail industry, ideally with a focus on Women Seasonal & Lingerie brands.

• Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape in Women Seasonal & Lingerie.

• Proficient English skills (both oral and verbal).

• Knowledge of Italian will be considered a plus.

• Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel) and Business Intelligence Analytics.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

• Analytical mindset with proficiency in retail systems and data-driven decisionmaking.

• Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail and trends.
