We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and detail-oriented Product Manager to lead and optimize our KYC processes. This critical role ensures that our KYC solutions comply with regulatory standards while enhancing user experience and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, KYC, and financial services. You will be involved in the entire product development cycle, including concept creation, development, testing, and launching new products, as well as overseeing the performance of existing products to optimize customer experience and reduce the company’s risk.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the KYC platform, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and overall business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., AML, FATCA), staying updated on any changes in the regulatory landscape.
- Identify potential risks within KYC operations and implement effective strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Analyse customer feedback and operational data to continuously improve KYC workflows, striving for a seamless user experience while minimizing operational risks.
- Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, compliance, data analytics, support, verification, business teams, and verification providers, to ensure the KYC platform meets both regulatory and user needs.
- Act as the liaison between the Product Team, Project Management, Business Intelligence, IT, Business Development, and Management to prioritize tasks and organize the full project delivery lifecycle, including business functional testing.
- Proactively identify risks in KYC workflows and implement measures to reduce fraud and identity theft.
- Monitor the performance of products and make adjustments to ensure the company’s overall targets are met.
- Collaborate with development teams to track the progress of committed features and ensure that customer requirements are met.
- Communicate product plans and performance indicators periodically to key stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate product roadmap features and their motivations to IT delivery teams.
- Show initiative and suggest ideas to increase the company’s trading volume.
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Business Management, Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in financial services, brokerage, or fintech.
- Proven experience of managing KYC-related products.
- Strong understanding of KYC/AML regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills, logical reasoning, and conceptual thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills, with the ability to secure buy-in from stakeholders across departments.
- Results-driven, with the ability to overcome challenges, prioritize tasks, and act proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, think strategically, and take initiative when necessary.
The following will be considered an advantage:
- Familiarity with KYC verification tools, APIs, and related technologies.
- A solid understanding of financial products such as CFDs, Options, and Futures.
- Strong understanding of the FX market client profile.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the trade lifecycle.
- Previous experience with online trading platforms such as Sumsub, Jumio, Shufti Pro is a strong advantage.
