As Team Lead, you’ll drive Wolt’s growth in the retail segment by leading a team and building relationships with major grocery retailers. You’ll combine leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on sales with C-level engagement to position Wolt as the partner of choice for omni-channel growth.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Create a positive team environment that supports development and performance
Lead by example by demonstrating Wolt’s values and behaviors
Build and manage a pipeline of potential partnerships at both store and enterprise level
Develop and strengthen relationships with key retail merchants, positioning Wolt as a strategic partner in their omni-channel strategy
Engage in senior-level and C-level discussions with leading retailers to build long-term partnerships
Contribute to refining the local sales strategy to accelerate Wolt’s retail market entry and penetration
Make data-driven business decisions, ensuring profitable and sustainable partner terms
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams, including Product, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, and Support, to deliver winning solutions
Define and implement OKRs for the local Grocery Sales team
Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and mentorship to team members
Our humble expectations
6–8 years of experience in B2B field sales, ideally in marketplaces, tech, or hospitality.
2–4 years leading sales teams: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and guiding performance toward clear goals.
Owned regional acquisition plans and KPIs, setting meaningful targets and holding your team accountable.
Built repeatable sales processes and championed CRM hygiene, pipeline discipline, and reliable forecasting.
Negotiated with senior retail partners and structured win-win deals that balance partner value and solid unit economics.
Made data-driven decisions, blending local know-how with performance dashboards and weekly insights.
Collaborated closely with onboarding, support, and marketing teams to remove friction and deliver smooth, on-time launches.
Fostered a strong, supportive team culture, offering clear direction, giving feedback early and often, and creating a low-ego, high-ownership environment.
Communicated clearly and confidently in both English and Greek.
