Position Title:
Teppanyaki Chef
Reports To: Head Chef
Duty-tasks
Preparing variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables using teppanyaki techniques, often incorporating flair and theatrical elements such as knife tricks and food tossing.
Interacting with guests, answer questions about the menu, and accommodate special dietary requests when possible.
Βe able to follow recipes and instructions
Coordinating with the team smoothly during all the meal preparation and services.
Monitoring the quality and quantity of food served to the guests.
Resolving customers' complaints and issues professionally.
Stay updated with the new trends in the food industry.
Knowledge-skills
Experience in Japanese cuisine, particularly in teppanyaki-style cooking
Be comfortable performing in front of an audience
Able to handle high-pressure environments
Professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Good hygiene knowledge and HACCP Standards
Culinary degree
Creativity, precision, and a passion for food presentation
