mobile application developer - android

WINGS ICT Solutions is looking for a mobile software engineer that will be responsible for the design and development of native Android applications.

Requirements: 

Educational Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in Information and Communications Technologies, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering or equivalent

Required experience in:

• Designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform using Android Studio, etc.

• Working with outside data sources and APIs

• Object Oriented Programming and coding best practices, especially in Java

• Working with remote data via REST and JSON

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

• Bug fixing and improving application performance

Other qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communicational skills in English

• Native or fluent Greek, oral and written

• Organizational skills and effective time management

• Initiative, strong sense of accountability and ownership of actions

• Ability to work based on a certain time plan and methodology

• Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude are essential
