We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support our product expansion both locally and internationally.

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help manage our infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines.

The main responsibilities of the role will include managing continuous integration and development pipelines, setting up and maintaining virtual infrastructure, automating processes, ensuring redundancy and scalability, monitoring production infrastructure, and implementing backup and disaster recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management

• Oversee continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes using GitLab.

Infrastructure Management

• Design, configure, and manage virtualized infrastructure using platforms such as Proxmox, while leveraging configuration management and Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible and Terraform.

• Containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

Networking and Security

• Configure and maintain domains, tunnels, proxies, VPNs and Zero Trust Network configurations.

Monitoring and Recovery

• Monitor production infrastructure with health checks, service supervisors, and metrics and log monitoring, supported by well-configured alerting and backup and disaster recovery procedures.

Requirements

Educational requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technologies, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.

Essential technical skills

• Strong foundation n Linux administration, scripting and command-line usage in server environments.

• Hands-on proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Familiarity with at least one scripting/programming language (Bash, Python or Go)

• Experience with virtualization technologies and hypervisors, such as Proxmox or VMware, for managing and maintaining virtualized server environments

Additional Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

• Native or fluent proficiency in Greek, both written and spoken is mandatory.

• Strong sense of initiative, accountability, and ownership of tasks and outcomes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.

• Good project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a DevOps culture is considered a plus.
